I agree, it is a huge ripoff. $700 for books is a bunch of nonsense. :tantrum:

They know they have you, its a total rip off!

When I went back to college last year after 24 plus years away, I almost choked the poor kid that was checking me out after buying books!

I usally try to get used books if they are there. I'll also look for them on Amazon or at Barnes and Noble. But ****, yeah they are exspensive as hell.

If the private school makes you better prepared for college, it is probably worth it then, right?

yea my high school is a very challenging school academically.thats why my parents pay the money for the textbooks.they know i will be smarter by going through that school.my bro graduated and they like the way the school made him more mature in a way.hes at college now and they had to pay for his books:lol:

hey my public school was extremely challenging too. if you only showed up 2 times a week, you could only graduate with if you were a senior, and then on top of that! you would have a tag of "no child left behind"...psh, talk about challenging, now that was challenging...luckally i showed up an average of 3 times a week, so i didnt have to have that label. also, because of my school transitioning to a different credit system my freshman year, i only had 3 classes a day. you want to talk about challenging? try waking up at 730(9 most the time cause im a heavy sleeper) when you know you only have 3 classes. its alot tougher then you think.
