My current mouse no longer works, and I'm looking for a new mouse that is made mainly for gaming. Any suggestions? I play a lot of FPS so i need a quick and accurate one. I'm thinking about this one:

Looks like a solid mouse. My only recomendation is NOT to go wireless. In this golden age of technology, the pressure to go wireless is growing day to day. BUT, there is still timelag for a wireless mouse. Mouse's (mice?) send a lot more info to the PC than a wireless controller does a console. Some people don't notice the lag, but in a fast paced FPS (like Battlefield 2) those miliseconds could mean life or death.

I agree with Mor wireless mice suck.

Get the

Logitech Mx 518. Its the pefect gaming mouse.

I like it because you can change the sensitivity on the spot.

When I was a huge Q3 player, I loved my Razer and I've got to say their new mice are impressive.

If you need one now, I'd say get this: http://www.razerzone.com/Products/Gaming-Mice/Razer-Copperhead-Gaming-Mouse/

But if you can wait until Oct, you migth want to check this one out: http://www.razerzone.com/Products/Gaming-Mice/Microsoft-Habu-Gaming-Mouse/
Ahh, MS and Razer together should be very nice!

no...wireless rules...

logitech makes fantastic keyboard/mouse combo's....mine has the mx1000 laser mouse

http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=51019478

i believe thats it but i paid about 60 for my combo so mine might be the previous series...it has its own charging dock station and a l.e.d. battery meter......not too mention a lithium ion battery so it holds a charge extremely long...

just don't buy a cheap one and you will be amazed at how awesome they work....and pc's have too many wires as it is, 2 less actually does make a difference :)

go with the mx1000 mouse it rules....they may have a wired version if u really wanted, but i promise you ..logitech has got their stuff straight

Not true anymore, unless you're using a Bluetooth mouse. There's a reason why Logitech's cordless mice use Fast RF wireless tech; because it's actually fast. I used to own an MX510, then upgraded to the MX1000 when it came out. I notice precisely zero difference in response times between the corded MX510 and the wireless MX1000. It's a fine gaming mouse, and I find it more useful than the MX510 when outside of games.

Given that the MX518 is just an upgraded MX510... I don't really see the reason to avoid the wireless mouse, unless you're on a budget.

I like it because you can change the sensitivity on the spot. My friend has that mouse and it is really good, only game I have played using it is CS and it worked awesome.
