Sorry if this has been posted, I searched and didn't see anything. At any rate here it is http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/TB/9628738

Its pretty ironic when our 2 previous qb in the wannstedt era are out in the streets as I post this. :shakeno:

I wish the best for Jay. He may not have been the best quarterback. But during those years between Marino and Culpepper, he has given quite a bit to write home about.

with the need for veteran backup QB's im sure Fielder will end up on someone's roster before season's end....Jeff George, what the hell were the Raiders thinking...I realize he was signed before Jay was cut, but Fiedler has to atleast be considered a better option than that for added depth at the position...:nono:

Maybe he can be Wanny's QB coach in Pittsburgh?...they seemed to have a thing for each other.

I'm surprised the Fielder fans have not started a thread saying we should sign him yet...

I know this is waaaay of topic...But posting an avatar of the greatest Dolphin ever...with a very dirty back is kinda bad....How many times did he get sacked that day? And he was rarely sacked....

Wait a second, I should probably know this, but I thought Jeff George had been out of the league since the late 90's-early 2000's somewhere in that region. Wouldn't he be like 40 now?

 turns 40 in Dec., has been out of the league for I believe 5 years.

He's been in the league for most of the last 5 years, most recently on the Seahawks roster I believe, but he hasn't seen the field in about 5 years.
