merriweather? S the U ( i believe the U)
Griffin? S texas
L. Woodley DE/OLB he excites me. haevn't seen him play but somethin says...Merriman to me. 6 2 271, 4.60's 40? sounds nicee. long arms, sheds blockers well.

He wasnt impressive against ND, and he was matched up against a true freshman RT most of the day. He's good though but I'd rather have the other people you mentioned and a slew of others over him.

Merriweather or Landry would be great to go along with Allen.

Merriweather is going to be and Ed Reed type player, turnover machine, Id kill to have him and Allen back there next year, I still think Allen is going to be great, regardless of his slow start

Another safety would be nice, Laron Landry would be a great fit. After that, we gotta find a way to upgrade the line

How about SJamie Silva from Boston College Or Nate Lyles from Virginia if he comes out. Merriweather would be a bad pick eithter.

Lamar Woodley is my pick. The guy from Clemson might be a good pickup as well, Gaines Adams.

Our defense is stellar, we just need to keep them off the field, they're getting worn out out there. I'd rather have Justin Blalock or some other lineman in the first.

Landry, I was hoping he would come out for the 06 draft.

well how bout kenny phillips the guy is a ball hawk from the u he probably comes out next year, remember if jason allen cant hit we can just put him at cb, he got cover skills.

I'm not a draft guru, but won't Merriweather and Landry be top 10-14 picks at the least?

So far Allen has shown me that he isnt afraid to come up and he but he just makes mistakes in coverage

Phillips is a sophmore im pretty sure so he cant declare till the 08 draft, I could be wrong though

That's why he said next year. It's a simple misunderstanding, since the draft is next year, but he meant after the next college year.

Buster Davis or Patrick Willis. We need a guy that can step in at LB and make an impact. Davis can play either LB positions, which could really help us out.

Do a little research before you post. If we go for a safety then LaRon Landry from LSU would be a GREAT pick, but if Allen can come around by next year then I wouldn't mind our secondary so much. I am all for taking an O-lineman. We need to get at least two good young linemen if we want to compete.
