View Full Version : Japanese PS3 Games to Cost up to $85

The PS3 will be alittle cheaper in Japan than in the US. They don't get away with it in the long run it seems. A Japanese magazine reports that PS3 titles will cost up to $85. This is $25 more than the US's $60 'Next Gen' price set in place so gracefully by Microsoft.

I also want to stress that these are Japanese price changes and have NO bearing on the US prices at all.

All I know is that I see a lot of games coming out that I want, and I don't have enough time or money to get most of them, let alone play them. It's a sad day for me to realize that.

Yea I rent many games because I cannot afford them and I can beat alot of games in 3 days so rentings is great for games I would like to play but not own.

don't worry guys PS3 games will be $59.99 in the US. Games are usually proced higher in japan

Yea developers said they will not charge more than 60$ for a game blueray or not.
