who has been the best freshman QB this year?

i'm going to surprise everyone here: matt grothe for USF. he is AWESOME. he is all of USF's offense, and he has been great. he's had some great comeback attempts against kansas and rutgers, but the losses weren't his fault. his WR dropped the 2-pt conversion against rutgers.

i don't think he'll be better than tebow or mustaine or any of those guys, but man...he is GREAT. try and watch him sometime this year.

Mustain has played great, they have done a great job of not making him have to win the games.

Mustain, no E. :D He's done well so far. As long as we can limit him to 10-20 pass attempts per game and get the running game rolling, he'll end up with the best record of any freshman QB (Tebow not included).

That's tough. I haven't seen USF's QB, but I am impressed with Colt McCoy too. He's played in a few big games, and is visibly progressing each week.

Colt McCoy has gotten better every week and i've been really impressed with him. Stephen McGee who I believe is a RS Sophomore for A&M has been impressive as a young Qb also.

Yea, I would have to say Mustain is the best of the bunch, but Colt McCoy isn't that far behind.
