I had to send artwork to someone for work and they said it had to be vector useing Adobe Illustrator so I downloaded the trial version to make it.

So what can you do with this program vs. Photoshop?
Anyone know or use it?

Thanks

I learned both in school. Illustrator is more for logo and artwork design. Stuff like labels, posters, menus, brochures, cards, etc.... Not quite as in depth as Photoshop when it comes to filters and effects and stuff. Actually been a long time since I messed with Illustrator.

very basically it makes images with solid colours and gives you the ability to enlarge or shrink without losing any quality.
