OK, depths patrons, troll responses aside, at this point in the season, with our lovely 1-5 record, with all of our shattered dreams ... shattered, what do you see as our best-case scenario record at season's end. Or - let me put it this way - figuring the playoffs are as likely as Kinzua getting a date - what record would you like to see at season's end that would tell you we have something to look forward to in '07?

For me, 8-8 would do it. That would make us 7-3 over the next 10. Hoepfully, if this is the case, we'll have a little more season-to-season continuity than we had from last year to this season.

Thoughts? Remember, I said "best case scenario".

Trolls, feel free to send in your $0.02, but we'll likely just call you Gay and move on.

You guys are not a .500 team, i say 4-12, but that's being generous, with your remaining schedule, look out!

I don't think putting a definitive number on win total will necessarily tell us what we have to look forward to next year. To me, it's not about next year, next month or even next week, it's all about now. What can we fix now, what can we do to improve now? It's apparent what the problem is with the Phins, it's just a matter of how long it will take to fix it.

With that being said, I always go into a game thinking that the Phins will win, no matter what the odds are. If you go in thinking that they will lose, what's the point of watching, right? So pencil me in for 10 more wins,.......it's called optimism not prophecy.

.I agree about always thinking they were going to win. I've just been wrong five times this season :D.

I see your point - I just want to see some definite improvement - real improvement from now until season's end. I feel we played well enough - sans idiotic mistakes - to win the past two games. So, can we stop making these mistakes and turn them into wins? That's what I want to see!

That said, hey, someday a team will start 1-5 and then make the playoffs. Just like the Sawx came back from 0-3 to beat the choke-mes, eh hem, Yankees.

Why not us!

Yup, and believe me, noone wants to win and see improvement more than me. We could be 3-3 at the very least (Pitt and Jets) if our receivers knew how to catch a ball, dropped passes have only compounded the Dolphins problems.

At least my "Muts" are providing me some salvation from this Dolphins season - unlike your ... Yank-Mees!!!

But this be a football forum! Go Fish! :dolphins::dolphins::dolphins: 10-6 here we come! Usually by Tuesday, the amnesia starts to set in from the previous game.

Well, at least after last night, I'm not putting a definite "L" in the books for the Bears game. Heck, after that game, there are three winnable games in a row if we can get our $hit together. Let's first beat the Pack and see how it goes!
