im trying to make this report look nice. i want even looking dots for my table of contents. For example:

Something.............................................................................1
Somethingelse........................................................................2

anyone know how to space them neatly in Word?

yeah but they dont always line up straight at the end for the numbers

Try using full justification.

go to format at the top of the page,

Next hit tabs,

Under the "tab stop position" enter 6.0 (the 6.0 represents where you want the "..." to end, 6.0 is the end of the page), then under aligment select right, then under Leader select the "..." option or number 2. and then hit set.

When done it will look like this:

Now hit "OK". when on the page type what ever you want and hit tab. this should add periods to the end of the page. now type the page number and the page numbers will line up.

Yea, Excel is such an awesome program if you tuely know all the ends and outs of it.

ive only been taught about real basic stuff like graphs. i know theres alot more, i make data files with it sometimes
