I hate that feature. Predictive text messaging. I use the regular keyboard when I text.

you are in my prayers Mary, I look forward to hearing from you. peace unto your heart

I am so inept with my phone...there are tons of things "it" can do, that "I" don't understand...

Instead of pressing a key several times to get to the letter you want, you just press the key once and the phone will predict what you are trying to say and guess what it is. Once you use it some the phone will be alot more acurate, because it will recognize your favorite words.

God, I hate being Finheavens resident cell phone guy.

I keep my one and only cell phone in my glove compartment of my car for emergency purposes only (the 60 minutes a month plan)....other than that, nobody can reach me and that's the way I like it.

I dislike T9. I've tried getting use to it but I just couldn't. Now I have a Sidekick though so I don't text the other way either. I have a mini keyboard :D

Thanks for the link thom. The site was very helpful. I just figure out how to add new words in the dictionary. Works wonders indeed.:D

Just dont forget to always check your spelling before sending it. T9 is a breeze once you got the hang of it. You may try this trivia test (www.t9sportstrivia.com) too..to become more familiar with it.

Predictive text input is cool! My cell even adapted to a foreign language i often use for text messages. And the more I use the regular text inputs, the T9 picks up all new words I write, thus adding to the database, and making it better every time i use it.
