just going by ESPN's power rankings here:

1: Oakland - Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia Tech. porter is gone, moss is probably gone. al davis won't draft a QB. bring in johnson!
2: Green Bay - Adrian Peterson, RB, Oklahoma. despite broken collarbone, he'll still go top 5.
3: Houston - Marshawn Lynch, RB, Cal. i think he's better than peterson personally, and i think after a good season and combine, he'll go top 5 along with peterson. he fits kubiak's one-read RB system well, too.
4: Arizona - Joe Thomas, T, Wisconsin. pretty simple pick here. the line is awful and they need studs to improve it. leonard davis is an all-pro, but he may be moved soon.
5: Cleveland - Jared Gaither, T, Maryland. 2nd best offensive line prospect in the draft IMO. could be better in the long run than thomas.
6: Miami - Brady Quinn, QB, Notre Dame. pure BPA situation here. saban isn't stupid.
7: Tennessee - Daymeion Hughes, CB, Cal. already spent a top 10 pick on a CB, and they do it again here. reynaldo hill is really awful. hughes is the best DB in this draft IMO. that includes safeties.
8: Detroit - Brian Brohm, QB, Louisville. the matt millen era is hopefully over at this point, and mike martz gets a young gunslinger who learns fast and will do very well in his offense.
9: San Francisco - LaRon Landry, S, LSU. they're allowing 32 points a game this year. the offense looks good, but that defense is awful.
10: Buffalo - Gaines Adams, DE, Clemson. this is definitely a BPA situation, as adams is considered by most to be better than the #10 player selected in the draft. a very young defense gets younger...and better.

The Brownies love Chuck though. He gets at least one more year.

I'd be happy with that. Let's just nail down this position once and for all

Interesting, but no way we take a QB.

If Brady Quinn is there at number 6 and we have the pick do you know how much value that pick would have? We'd be crazy not to trade down and pick up a bunch of picks in return. This team has a lot more holes to fill than just QB.

You really think they are ready to give up on Frye already?

I dont think Gaither declares......regardless, I still like Baker over him. More polished and NFL ready! Why shouldnt we take Baker over Quinn (even if Gaither declares) 4-5-6 all go OL!

Not buying BPA when GNA is more crutial to our teams success in 2007.

With all the money we have tied up in our QBs, there is no way we draft one in the 1st. IF Quinn is there and that's a big IF, we would definitely be looking at a blockbuster type trade.

How depressing is this? We aren't even 1/2 way into the season and we're talking about the draft since it's the only thing to get excited about. I'm reaching the lowest point in my 36 year love affair with the Fins.

Cleveland will draft Brady Quinn. Romeo Crennell will be stupid not too. He knows Charlie Weis, and has worked with a quarterback just like Brady Quinn that won 3 Super Bowl championships. I think his name is Tom Brady...

I get the displeasure of watching all thier games, and he has only been responsible for like 3 picks, and only one of those was a bad throw/decision. 6 of his interceptions have come from deflected/dropped passes by the WRs. He's playing pretty good, especially considering he runs for his life on any play where he has to drop more than 3 steps.

Because his skill set isn't developed enough yet IMO.

I know MANY Browns backers and they all are not sold on Charlie Frye..he cost them the game at home vs Baltimore by throwing a BAD pass to Mcallister in the end zone...

Unless he improves alot over the next 11 games..they would be NUTS not to draft Quinn if they can.

Ginn is a Burner WR. Now if I wanted a OSU WR I would take Gonzo that kid is amazing!

BleeK3499
10-20-2006, 03:22 PM
Ginn is a long shot at #6 and he isn't even the most skilled WR over there Gonzo is by far more solid than Ginn, and doesn't drop half as many, we allready have a guy that drops too many, his name Chris Chambers.

You see, I think if the Browns get a chance at A. Peterson, they should take him too. I'm not sold on Droughns. He's solid, but unspectacular.

they need the o-line before they think about rb. i think if that team had a good o-line they would be set on offense w/ edwards winslow and droughns, i dont think the frye-guy is half bad either. the foundation of any team is o-line, can you remember the last team that won a superbowl or was even decently successful in this league w/ a crappy o-line?

The Bucs o-line wasn't too studly, however, they also run WCO

I agree that the oline is the most important to them but its more of a gamble drafting OL. I dont think you can fault them if they go with RB 1st, Oline 2nd
