LOS ANGELES (AP) - The Black Sabbath boys are back, as the new band (http://apnews1.iwon.com//article/20061026/D8L0A3G01.html#) Heaven and Hell. Guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, drummer Bill Ward and singer Ronnie James Dio - former members of British metal supergroup Black Sabbath - are forming the band named after their 1980 hit, according to their publicist. They plan to launch an international tour next year.
"The fans have been wanting to see this for years and years. Now was just the time," publicist Maureen O'Connor said Wednesday.
Since its formation in 1969, Black Sabbath has undergone numerous member changes and reunions. Dio, who replaced original Sabbath vocalist Ozzy Osbourne as part of the band's early '80s lineup, has been recording new songs (http://apnews1.iwon.com//article/20061026/D8L0A3G01.html#) with Iommi in England, O'Connor said.

This is GREAT news...I'm one of the few who actually liked their work with Dio better than with Ozzy.

"So it's on, and on, and on.....it's Heaven & Hell!"

Trashed f'ing RAWKS!

So we went back to the bar and hit the bottle again
But there was no tequila
Then we started on the whisky just to steady our brains
'Cos there was no tequila
And as we drank a little faster at the top of our hill
We began to roll
And as we get trashed we were laughing still
Well bless my soul...

Ronny James Dio has a big voice for a little man.....Ozzy was good when he was young, but he is too old to rock anymore.

I caught a story about them "re-uniting" but the story only said their would be no "Ozzy" but did not say a thing about who WOULD be the "new" singer...

Dio with Sabbath is a good, good thing. :D

Real rock & metal is alive and well bro, you just have to look to Europe to find it. Hit me up with a PM and I can give you a list of new or newer bands you can check out.
