12:01 AM) New #1 at top of draft board… Oakland became the final NFL o get into the win column this fall with a 22-9 win over Arizona. And with the Raiders getting off the schneid, the current selection order for the 2007 draft was reshuffled with a new #1. Indeed, were the draft held today, Miami (1-6) would have the first pick followed by Detroit (1-6), Arizona (1-6), Oakland (1-5), Tennessee (1-5), and Cleveland (1-5). The top of the current draft board, though, is a tad misleading because Miami, Detroit and Arizona have played 7 games, while the other three some teams have had their byes and have played one fewer game. However, Miami would have the #1 pick regardless as the Dolphins’ schedule is considerably weaker than that of the other 5 one-win teams. In fact, of the one-win teams, Oakland plays the second weakest schedule, while there is little statistical difference at this time in the strength of schedule of the other four. Meanwhile, three other teams that had been flirting with a top 5 pick posted their second wins of the season and moved up the board. Green Bay, for example, beat Miami to go to 2-4, while Houston, which had the #1 pick overall last April, also won its second game of the year, routing division rival Jacksonville. Tampa Bay, though, saved the best for last as PK Matt Bryant kicked a 62-yards FG as time expired to give the Buccaneers their second win of the campaign, an improbable 23-21 victory over Philadelphia. For the record, we’ll be posting the full updated 2007 draft selection order starting next week. And, of course, we’ll have the full rookie report after tonight’s big Giants-Cowboys Monday nighter.

Yeah and add about 4 more years to the building process. We need execution. We have plenty of talent to get it done. It's something mental that we're missing right now and that is it. Even with the O-Line they are good (just) enough to get it done. We are lacking fire and intensity. If we could put Wes Welkers all over the field we'd be fine.
