Travis Shelton (http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=186&p=8&c=1&nid=2165704&refid=4345) scored on a 96-yard kickoff return for one of his two touchdowns, and Adam DiMichele threw two scoring passes, leading Temple (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86052) to a 28-14 victory over Bowling Green (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86082) on Saturday and snapping the Owls' 20-game losing streak.

Temple (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86052) (1-8) ended the nation's longest losing streak with their first win since a 34-24 victory over Syracuse (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86055) on Nov. 13, 2004. The Owls lost to Boston College (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86049) in their final game of the 2004 season and lost 11 games last season.
The victory is Temple (http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/team/86052)'s first under new coach Al Golden, whose Owls lost eight straight and were outscored 351-71, allowing 60 points in three losses.
