I hear that song and I feel for all the people liek you Nappy, the ones that are passionate about hip-hop, because crap liek that just gives it a bad image. I've gone through the same thing with punk music. I am a huge punk fan, but REAL punk, be it old stuff like the Ramones or newer stuff like Bad Religion and Pennywise (and all the other "SoCal" punk) but when the huge "pop-punk" and "emo" crap hit MTV, suddenly everyone thinks THAT is what punk is, and it's completely different, and it pisses me off. Someone asks what type of music I liek and I say punk and they go "oh, like fall out boy and good charlotte?" and I'm like "Um....NO" and then want to punch them in the face for thinking that crap is punk, so like I said, I feel for you and all of the other hip-hop fans who's favorite genre is getting a bad rep by crap like the Chicken Noodle Soup song

That song is due to the genius of dj dangermouse. I love the beat content I dont know so much about. But man dj dangermouse is a great producer IMO. Are they using this for the transformer movie?

yea, im not sure what it is. but even when i was younger i hardly ever listend to the radio. even though it used to not be as bad as it is now, im not sure what it is now. it would seem, all you have to do is make up a dumb dance to sell in hip-hop. ive moved further and further away from the radio where almost everyone i listen to is underground or old. its a shame really.

Ditto. But thats what happens when the music genre starts selling big. It goes straight to crap and the little guy can no longer have a voice accept on the underground.
