I have heard them and they sound good. But I dont think they are worth 3 and 4 grand for a set of speakers. I have been to Bose factory outlet and their sound rooms are acoustically enhanced to create a fuller sound for the listener. I am sure they dont sound like that at home.
What do yall think?

I bought 901's in '72 and paid to much then, even on military discount...that doesn't change at Dr. Bose's place....big name, big dollah

I work at a store that sells "high-end" home theater products. We sell Bose systems...I agree with you, they're wayyyyy too expensive. To be honest, I think they sound ok, but nothing spectacular. For that price, I could buy some nice Polk speakers, a receiver, a woofer and have much better sound quality.

Dude, for the price of a Bose, I can buy a sweet surround system, a very nice plasma, and a new PS 3 to go with it all.
It cost way too much!
