We just need to keep winning so we can avoid paying a huge salary for a top pick and get Landry to play safety for us

At least thats what im hoping for

i thought Landry was a Top 10 pick??? Lets imagine we pick 15 or up...who's good that we need? The QBs are gone, Joe THomas is gone, Calvin is gone, Gaines is gone...Saban doesnt like undersized corners like Leon, Landry should go Top 10.....Blalock is gone...possibly a Top outside linebacker??

well the Buffalo Bills picked 2 SAFETIES in R2 and R1....Whitner and Simpson. We need a Safety, yeah Yeremiah Bell is decent...but we need someone else.

Well Jason Allen could also possibly move to CB, we need a playmaker at Safety and Landry would fit the bill

we don't need a safety in round 1 we have bell and i think allen will come around we could even put daniels at safety these are our needs corner LT. center line backers DT DE and not all in that order and could use a speed demon at wide out

w4e definitley need speed at wideout. on the booker reverse, i swear i thought it was my Gma running. that was the slowest man i have ever seen. i dono why it took him 23423 yrs to reach the -1 yard line from the scrimmage at 0. we def. need speed but i do like bell a lot. he somewhat reminds me of a R. Harrison. maybe its his size, his style of play, his attitude. something htere reminds me of him and id love that. look how many plays he mad yesturday and how he basically changed our Secondaries performacne single handedly other then W. Allen and Goodman playing sub par. and is it me or does DANIELS always celebtrate after an incomplete pass as if he broke it up when infact the QB ethier over threw it or threw it completely out of the WR site? he did it yest. adn i was just like dude, YOU GOT LUCKY you didnt evne konw where the ball was the wr and QB wre confused themselves. why celebtrate? lmaoo. anyways.

wasn't R harrison a 5th rounder as well? ala bell? bell was suppose to be a day 1 pick but he broke his left or somethign via combine ibelieve.

If we have the #2 overall pick we would be able to parlay that into a few extra day 1 picks, and draft the best player available each pick.
I hope we win out the remainder of the season and the Patsies lose out and we make it to the playoffs. I know I am dreaming but I hate losing, and I hate picking in the top o the draft.
Just keep winning and draft the best player available.

right now I'm looking at both the O and D lines in the draft. I think we get another LB in FA.

i say we go with Bell if he continues to play well and j allen at our SS and FS spots.

get clements to put as our number 1 guy, then allen at 2, daniels at his original 3, and goodman at 4. that would be ONE HELL OF A FAST secondary finally (especially for madden ahhaha) other hten daniels and iffy bell. i like that secdonary cuz they tackle as well.

LB, we go with 1 in the draft and 1 in the FA. im tlkaing about an elite Lb in the FA not a back up.

so i say, LT or C via draft, DT (m wright and r wright should be there netx year), go wtih a DE, LB, or maybe a S/CB as well. oh yea and CROSBY!

what we need at a top 3 pick is a playmaker as in calvin johnson.at first when the idea of drafting him was around i was against it but now i realize he is just amazing. but if hes gone joe thomas is a solid looking pick although im not all for drafting an olineman so high when you can get good olineman in the later rounds but he is a true talent

I would say...Bills, Raiders, Redskins, Vikings, Lions, Bucs, are possible. Maybe the Ravens too, maybe the Bears if Grossman keeps playing bad.

Any chance of a Merriman type pickup? I'm stuck in SD watching Merriman dominate games like crazy. People compare him to Crowder here but they are two different players. I don't see Roth developing into that type of Player. JT can but who is going to replace JT we got so spoiled of his play.

I would add Green Bay on that list too. Are they really sold on Aaron Rodgers?

Realistically, if we have the #2 pick and are trading out it would have to be with a team within the top 10, likely the top 5-6. Teams out of the top 10 would have to give up A LOT to move that high. Possible, but VERY unlikely. The teams picking in this range who likely will almost definately be looking for a QB are the Raiders, Browns and Lions. Teams that MAY be interested in a QB would be the Texans, Bucs and Bills.

The Cards and Titans drafted Leinart and Young so wont be looking. Green Bay has yet to give Rodgers a chance, so I have a hard time believing they will boot him without letting him even play a game, and pretty much the same applies to the Redskins and Jason Campbell. Big Ben is struggling but hard to see Pitt taking a QB with the intent to replace him. If the Cowboys or Vikes make a loosing run and end up low they could be in the market but they will likely be out of the top 10 picks.

Personally, if we have the #2 pick and Quinn is there I feel we NEED to take him, barring a HUGE blockbuster deal, preferably one that would allow us to take another top QB 2-3 picks later like SD did with Eli and the Giants. Daunte and Joey just dont seem to have it (yeah i know Pep is hurt, but his game is just off altogether and being over 30 I just dont see how we can pass on a future franchise QB like Quinn).

Honestly, the draft is SO deep at the top end this year I dont see much movement-playmakers will be available way beyond the top 5 and teams will be happy to get one without having to pay an arm and a leg,
