I think hes a junior so he may come out but damn look at those numbers. He should at least get invited to New York for the Heisman ceremony.

From what I hear some people think he could end up being a pretty good NFL QB

Hawaii QB's have inflated numbers from the system. Like tedford qbs and texas tech qbs.

That is true, but like I said Ive seen a few scouts say that he has the skills to be a good QB

Yeah but no-one ever thought he had the skills to be an NFL QB

I also believe he threw the most INT's in college football history (I could be wrong)

brennan is pretty good and he's definitely a much better prospect than timmy chang. he's bigger and has a stronger arm and is more accurate and makes better decisions....has a better release, too.

Exactly, i would love to see his attempts. All they do is find four track star WR's and run a hail mary all game.

So just because you play in that system you cant actually be good?

They don't run Hail Mary's all game.

248 completions
340 Attempts
3347 yards
72.9% completion (you don't get that running Hail Mary's all game)
9.84 ypa
Long of only 63 yards
39 TDs
6 INT
189.95 QB Rating
206 rushing yards
4.5 ypc
2 TDs

Yea, especially since he has so much talent around him at such a hot bed football school like Hawaii.

Many people didn't want Aaron Rodgers because he's a Tedford Qb. His stats are inflated as any Qb at Hawaii and Tech's are so people are going to be skeptical. It's hard to figure out if the guy really is that good or if it's the system. Looking at guys like Symons/Kingsbury/Chang I think generally it's the system not the Qb. I could be wrong but the combine is where he's going to have to prove he's got the skill-set and even that adds doubt. Generally I don't think teams give late round Qb's an opportunity so unless a Qb is a 1st day pick often they're never really given a chance.

Since I think he's a junior the highest he'd go in my opinion is 5th round.

It isnt that he cant be good because he plays in that system. But when you see a clearly mediocre QB like Timmy Chang putting up huge numbers in the system it's only natural to question if it's the system or the player. Putting up how many TD passes a Hawaii QB has will never impress me, that doesnt mean he cant be good, but that alone wont convince me.

I have only seen one and a half games of this guy and highlights. He has a good release and is much more accurate than Timmy Chang was at Hawaii. He's somewhat a product of the system, but he's still got pro potential. I wouldn't invest in him...not in Miami, not in Chicago, but someone could take a risk on him. Bruce Gradkowski anyone?

WOW!!!
Now those are some impressive numbers
Imagine if we had a QB this year with comparable numbers... = undefeated

If he did come out, where would he be drafted?

Only speculation on my part, since he is a Junior, and I've heard no draft talk about him. I would say 5th round based on size, potential, the system he was in, and the fact he is a junior. With combine and workouts, that could increase or decrease obviously.

I've seen him play and I have seen Chang play, I go to school at Nevada, and both are clearly system products, and little more.
