There's a draft forum for a reason, so people who don't want to look at draft threads on the main board don't have to. So why don't you take advantage, and don't come into the Draft forum if you don't want to hear about the Draft.

As for the original topic, one guy I'd like in the 3rd round is Brian Smith out of Missouri. He's an OLB with great size at 6-4 230 lbs.

We desperately need LB's, the only decent guy we've got with any longevity is Crowder. In a 3-4, that's a problem. I wouldn't mind spending our 1st on offense, then taking LB's back-to-back in the 2nd and 3rd.

Good Find
And the Kid has great size

next time I see Missouri play I like to concentrate on this Guy .
We all know Nick love tall CB and LBs , but Saban to me
just haven't had the Chance to turn the rosters over.

I feel Nick just going to have to make a decision on some player we love the Most

No, I simply find it annoying that people constantly come into the draft forum with garbage posts about how we should all shut up about the draft because the season is still going.

You wouldn't have a problem if I went into the Lounge and told everyone to stop talking about the last movie they saw, or go into they college football forum and tell them to stop wasting their time discussing the BCS because they should be preoccupied on the main board talking about the 3rd-string OG we just signed?

I find it hillarious how people will start saying "lets focus on this season" like we're the ones playing, lol. I just find it funny that they say things like that as if they have to prepare for the next game, lol

Michigan's ILB David Harris he has experience of playing in a hybrid 3-4 defense & has been moving up draft boards of late.

My guy would be Gonzalez, the WR from fOSU. As a hawkeye fan, I saw firsthand that this guy is the killer, not Ginn. In a dead run, Ginn might win, (OSU teammates say Gonzo may even be faster) but Gonzalez is more effective. He runs better routes, gets open, finds the seems and can run after the catch (ahem - he rarely drops). I think he's underrated, so maybe a 3rd round pick. Seriously, a lot of OSU fans think he's a better WR than Ginn. Let's hope he drops. If either Manningham (UM) or Ginn (OSU) come out, they are almost certainly 1st round picks. I think there is great value if Gonzo is a 3rd rounder or later, since he may actually be the best of the 3!

After the combine, everyone will be raving about Ginn & Calvin Johnson, but Gonzo is a real football player, too, and undervalued, IMO.

Also, Mason Crosby (Colorado) is an awesome K, but I don't know how high a pick we'd have to spend.

Manningham is a true sophomore, so he can't come out yet.

Miami Hurricanes Player To Watch!!!!!!!!!!!!

1.Brandon Merriwether-Draft status will suffer a little because BM was Forces to play CB this Season for the Canes. In which BM player average at best
But BM is a ball-hawking safety who plays the Ball very well.2nd Round projection

2.Greg Olson-that sound that you hear at the bottom of the barrel is the sound of Olson draft stock.Olson will need a good senior bowl and scout combine to pull his way back in the upper rounds 3-5 Round projection

3.T.Moss- the big RB has two Achilles heel, Injury and weight. If Moss can get pass his injury and get his wt. down Moss can be a above average NFL back
4-6 Round projection 4th round only B/c the successes of Frank Gore
watch not a lot of people scene coming

Greg Olsen is a 4th year junior though. With the year he's had I doubt he declares.

TEs tend to declare early though since unless you are a physical freak like Davis,Winslow,or Shockey you could plummet on draft boards. Tim Day was a guy last year most thought would be a 4th round pick. He went undrafted.

Olsen is having an absolutely horrible year. He honestly could not damage his draft stock anymore than he already has, the guy was a 1st rounder before the season started, now he's being talked about as a 2nd day guy. He would be stupid not to return under a new coach and try to improve his resume.

Agreed, however people see the talent . . . and I highly doubt he goes into the 2nd day . . . even with the year he has had. With the tradition of good Miami TE's and Olsens ability . . . and the fact that this team has had no offense/QB problems . . If he can put up a top notch combine for TE's I think he will be fine . . probably 2nd or 3rd round. But if he blows the combine . . . then yea he will slip into day 2 IMO.

But I'm with you in saying he probably should come back one more year . . . but who knows how this team will be next year with no established star QB, probably a new coach, alot of new things. May get worse.

most of them are underclassmen. Quinn Pitcock is a 1st/2nd round guy, but IMO he'll be just a pass rushing specialist.
