Looking at what he has done to it, I doubt he spent half that much.

Ya why would you get a car like that automatic? But it does look nice.

He could have put that much into it...you almost never get money back from mods when selling a car.

I'm pretty sure that $50K includes the actual purchase cost of the car.

And then not list what was done? Thats dumb.

I figured that, but it should be worded differently.

Well, anyone who would be interested in buying it pretty much has at least some knowledge of cars. Just reading that it has 535 horsepower makes you know that work was done to the engine, and the tranny probably had to be modified to handle the extra oomph.

**EDIT**

Look under the "comments" section, it says he installed a Paxton blower and intercooler....that's close to $10K right there.

I figured that, but it should be worded differently.
Agreed. Again, they probably figure that whoever might be bidding would know that.

I completely agree, But if you were gonna drop that much on a car, wouldn't you wanna know exactly what was done?

Even if the engine is fully built and the tranny bulletproofed, $50K is ALOT of money. I assume there would have to be some suspension mods too.

All I'm saying is from what he has listed, I don't see how it adds up. Thats all.

Oh yea, definitely not.

Maybe when you bid they tell you? Who knows....I wouldn't buy a car off Ebay anyway.

Looks like a sweet ride.....I'm alright with automatics....it's a pain shifting all the time in the crowded bumper to bumper traffic in Phoenix, but an auto sports car kind of defeats the purpose. I doubt he put $50K into it....unless it went into the engine?

50k pbbbbbbbbbbt.

Unless he is not listing a TON of engine upgrades, there is no way he put 50k to UPGRADE that car unless he got ripped off by someone doing the install on the supercharger. If you have a built engine and tranny, you usually list that sorta stuff.

In all honesty though, people lie all the time about money they put into a car with aftermarket products on eBay. Also, the aftermarket varies greatly from car to car. Some cars have a ton of support and developers and greater competition and prices are lower.... some cars only have a handful of aftermarket developers and their prices are much higher. I have seen intakes go from 75-700, intercoolers from 100-3k (depending on type) etc. However the Mustang has a pretty large aftermarket so unless he has a completely rebuilt engine and tranny, 50k is a fabrication.

It's not a 4.7 it's a 4.6. That's the stock engine on the new Mustang GT.

Why supercharge it? Because stock it has 300 hp, and now it has 535. Silly question!

I plan on adding a blower to mine next spring. In fact, I plan on adding a bunch of little goodies. Been talking to someone who can hook me up so that I'll have 745 rwhp on 93 octane gas.

He hasn't given me all the details yet, cause I'm not ready to do it anyway....he just keeps saying "Trust me..."

And Mazda has the nerve to use the term "zoom, zoom"?

That's all they comes with bro. Unless you buy the Cobra, that has the bigger engine already supercharged.

BUT....it's cheaper to buy the regular GT and trick that out in th long run.

I always wondered what the big deal about that was....if you're a celeb and someone sees you driving the car, they know your plate anyway.

Non-issue, if you ask me.

No.
