Bunch of great games today. 1972 Dolphins remain the only team to ever be undefeated and win a Super Bowl! Thank you Cowboys!

Anyways, this is for 1st place of the AFC West. Should be a great defensive game, but the Chargers defense didn't look so great last week against the Bengals. At the same time, the Broncos have Jake Plummer.

I'm picking the Chargers to win a close, and really good game.

I need Plummer and LaDanian to both have crappy games to win my fantasy football this week. :rolleyes2

Ladanian and crappy doesn't go together in the same sentence. lol Talk about a guy who has 15 touchdowns the last 5 games.

As long as the game stays 0-0 and there is a lot of punting, I am happy!! :D

Yeah if you are facing Ladainian in FF you are probably going to lose.

LMAO. TWO TOUCHDOWNS ALREADY.

This guy is amazing, AMAZING. Wow.. I just don't know how he makes things look so easy.

24-7 just a few drives ago. Now it's 24-21. Great game.

Denver has one more shot to score, plus the two point conversion.

It got crazy their at the end. Chargers are my pick to go all they way. Behind the Dolphins of course.

What a weird bit of events at the end of that game. I'm like wondering who called a timeout as I saw Plumber at the sidelines talking, taking a drink, etc. Then he fumbles and then another ball appears on the field. Weird.

The Eli Manning trade is going to go down as one of the best trades ever. Got Rivers, Merriman and more and right now Rivers looks like he is better than Eli. There were a lot of Rivers doubters around, wonder what they think now?

I'm wondering if Marty ever considered going for 2 on the last TD? He's already up 7 with 1:10 left, go for 2 and go up 9 and the game is over. Even if you missed the 2 point try, your up 7. If Denver went down and scored, Shannahan wouldn't go for 2 and the win, he'd kick the EP and go into OT. Something to consider.

The success of LT this year is due to Rivers ability. Don't get me wrong, Im a HUGE LT fan, but MVP of this team IMHO is Rivers.

Finding a Left Tackle for the next 10 years also helps.

I agree completely that Rivers has been AMAZING this year, but I don't think LT is having the year he's having because of Rivers.

I'd say the reason he's having an AMAZING year is because he's healthy and he has (you mentioned it) an AMAZING left tackle. LT has been doing what he's been doing for a long time did it with Brees. He's having a great year because his line improved.

The Chargers in general are having a great year and I an praying for them to get homefield advantage since my father is a hardcore Charger fan if they make the playoffs and are at home he wants to take me!

Hey SEA:

They're both good reasons and they are both valid. However, if you watch the way the defenses now BACK-OFF because of the pass, it's giving LT the room to run against the LB's.

I respect Drew a lot, but I always thought he was a liability. Teams DARED Drew to throw, box was stacked consistently. And the pass patterns ran were to suit Drews arm. WIth PR at center, the LB's now back off and now actually have to RESPECT the pass. Especially the deep ball.

They interviewed John Lynch on the radio here in San DIego a week ago before the game. The announcer had asked what's the difference between Drew and Phil. Simply said, "from the films we've watched, we have to play deeper from the LOS because Phil has a stronger arm."
