Welcome to Sunny Florida (http://www.wftv.com/weather/10373307/detail.html) :welcome:

Snow flurries were reported in Seminole, Orange, and Volusia Counties Tuesday night. We even saw some snow at Channel 9's Orlando studios.

The last time it snowed in Central Florida was reportedly January 24, 2003. Before that, it hadn't snowed since 1989.

A blast of cold air is moving into the state this week, state emergency officials said.

Wind chills may drop into the 20s in parts of north Florida and high temperatures may only reach the 60s as far south as the Keys on Wednesday, state meteorologist Ben Nelson said.

I wish it was colder here. I want some snow. It's been nothing but a cold rain for the last 24hrs. It started out as sleet but didn't last long. It's 40 degrees right now and still coming down hard.

It snowed some at Myrtle Beach, where is also never snows.

Snow is nice for asthetics but it makes for a colder winter. Yet, without snow I wouldn't be as excited for spring/summer. Plus the climate I live in ensures there will be no nasty bugs or reptiles about.
