I dont know, maybe its just me. But I wouldn't let either of my two boys play with the Wii until they were at least 10.

I'd have to trust that kid EXTREMELY well to let them handle something like the Wii's remote near the big screen plasma.

Until they are old enough its Gamecube, Nintendo (8-bit), Genesis, 3DO, N64, SNES and the collection of games I have aquired throughout the years for them.

It would, hence the Wii being a joke (to me anyway). It justs eems like Nintendo didn't want to invest in the graphical power to compete with PS3/360 so instead they decided that a "revolution" was necessary, and that revoluton apparently is flailing your arms to plays every single game. If I wanted to interact with my games I would go to the arcade. I think something like tilt functionality in the PS3 controller is OK because it could be used subtley like for shifting your weight in a motorcycle racing game or flying a plane, like that Warhawk game, but as far as using it for swordfighting and throwing passes in Madden etc etc, it is just completely stupid to me. I like to kick back and recline on the couch and relax while playing a game, that seems impossible with the Wii, except when playing the old NES games since they don't use the motion, in which case I could just plug in my old NES with my huge library of games for it :rolleyes2
