Okay mods, I know this probably belongs in the NFL forum, but I thought it would be cool to have our own little game day thread in here where we can talk about the other games that are important to us today. It could be just like the Dolphins game day threads except with out of town scores.

I'm getting Baltimore @ Pittsburgh and the Ravens have the ball in Steelers terrirtoy!

Is there anyone whos got the Buffalo game who can give us updates?

Aqua4Ever04

Toad Heap TD BALTIMORE!!! There's one good thing already! Come on Baltimore, knock the Steelers out of this thing!

And Jacksonville just missed a FG!

I've only got half my system fired up today, but I've got Pittsburgh/Baltimore on one tv, Buffalo/Jacksonville and another tv, and on the third tv, I have Houston,New York.

Bills/Jaguars, ??
Steeler/Ravens, going to Baltimore
Jets/Texans, going for Houston

BTW, Jacksonville just missed a FG

I'm a big Bears fan today. Another New England loss today, helps us get a little closer to the division lead. Whishful thinking I know... but its always nice to see the rest of the AFC east loose when we win.

Go Texans, always love to see the jets lose. Specially if it helps us! GO HOUSTON!

Aqua4Ever04
11-26-2006, 02:15 PM
Yeah we want Buffalo to win. Jacksonville still has some tough games, but it would be nice if they picked up a loss today. To go the playoffs, we and the Bills both have to win out but we play each other too. So if we are going to the playoffs, we have to beat the Bills any way. So I hate to say it, but GO BUFFALO!

Well, the Jags and Steelers games are going the Fins way, but the Bengals and Jets games aren't. Although the Jets are still in a position to lose but it looks like the Bengals have their game locked up, but even if they win they're only a game ahead of the Fins, so its still good :)

Well the reason it's better for the Bills to win is b/c we have a chance to knock them down a notch later in the season. If Jax won they'd be two games ahead and we only play them once. But yeah the Bills have been playing well. That is going to be one of the toughest games left IMO.

You don't get a CBS game?

Cincinnati just scored again, that one is in the books.

Jacksonville had 4th and 1 on the Buffalo 9 and opted to attempt the FG. Interesting move, they must think they can get in position for another TD against the Buffalo D.

We'll still be the same...

We need one of the AFC West teams (KC or Denver) to fal back a little bit and we need to take care of our business.

None of the "we need this team to lose" stuff counts if we don't win out. It is 10 - 6 or nothing.

8. Jacksonville 6-5

Keep in mind, Denver is making a rash decision and starting a rookie for the rest of the season at the hardest position to play in sports (QB) under a lot of pressure for a playoff push.

It's a shame. They have the easiest remaining schedule in the league. If they do get in the playoffs they'll be a first round exit. Probably get blown out. They were embarrassed by Jax who is getting beaten by Buffalo as I type this.

Also, don't forget, Cincinnati, Denver and Kansas City have 3 of the toughest remaining schedules in the NFL. I've said it a million times and I'll say it again, if we win out, we're in.

Dolfan5000
11-26-2006, 04:29 PM
ALSO, Cincy plays the Ravens, Broncos, Colts (they won't be resting their starters when they play) and the Steelers who would love to spoil their playoff hopes. They play the Raiders too, but whatever. :)

Even if they make that bonehead decision and collapse. That still leaves cinci and Kc. However, KC has a tough scheduel. So if miami can somehow win out. There is a chance.

Grossman did what he does best, threw another interception and Samuel had 3 picks today, the Bears wouldn't even make the playoffs if they were in the AFC.
