Cincy is looking awesome for 2 weeks in a row now and that doesn't bode well at all for our playoff hopes unless someone else like Denver completely flags it.

It's not looking good.

Goodnight Irene. Winning just won't be enough.

It isn't looking good but Baltimore is beating themselves tonight they are not doing anything right.

I would've bet the farm on Cincy in this one. Baltimore shot their wad last week, and Cincy is still out to prove they're better than their record.

Cincy wins this one, they have the confidence to beat anyone which means they'll make the playoffs.

No it's not. We want denver to be the 5 seed and us to be the six. Cincy is still playing at Indy and at Denver. Cincy isn't the team to worry about. The teams to worry about are the Jets and Chiefs.

Baltimore's offense will be its downfall. Steve McNair and Jamal Lewis have nothing left in the tank.

They do have a tough schedule down the road so you never know especially this season.

Moderators absolutely shouldn't have moved this one. This game has huge implications for our playoff hopes.

The Dolphins beating the Jags has huge implications for the Dolphins playoff hopes. Not the Ravens beating the Bengals.

Cry me a river...please.

Last time I checked this is the NFL and any team can lose to any team on its schedule. Just because Cincy won/will win today doesnt mean they will win the rest of their games.

They will be lucky to go 9-7 with their schedule. Its fine

But its not a 50/50 chance either. Bengals will win every game left except for probably Indy. I said since the begining of the year my non Dolphin pick in the AFC was Indy/Cinncy.

I hope this doesnt happen, but i have a bad feeling, they have a VERY good team in my oppinion

Yeah with Cincy winning tonight the Fins' playoff hopes are fading.Still not dead yet , but on life support right now.
Well gotta say go Browns,go Pack,go Chargers,go Seahawks, and of corse most of all GO FINS.

The key games are @Indy and @Denver.Those are the only games I can see them losing. The Raiders have been playing better, but I don't see them beating the Bengals, and the Steelers are done.I doubt that they will win another game from here on out.Of course none of this other stuff matters if the Fins lose another game.Odds are really stacked against them, but of course they dug their own grave early.Losing to teams like Houston and to the Bills and Packers in Dolphin Stadium.:boohoo:

Any team having 5 losses instead of six obviously has implications for us since we have six losses. Im not a math wiz though.

The Dolphins beating the Jags has huge implications for the Dolphins playoff hopes. Not the Ravens beating the Bengals.True, but Miami needed the Ravens to win to give Cincy a better chance of going 9-7. If Cincy and Miami finish with a 10-6 record, Cincy wins the tie-breaker = better AFC conference record: 8-5 vs. 7-5 (Assumes Miami winning next 5 games).

No kidding. The Dolphins need to take care of business these next couple of games and then we can start worrying about where we are. This thing is far from over.

Definetly far from over. We need to take care of our business and worry about the other teams later. But, I hope they lose too.

Yeah me too. It certainly does make each game more exciting because it seems like almost every game has an impact on us.

Perhaps the mods realized that we shouldn't be talking about playoffs when were are still a game under .500 and there are about 4-5 teams that can stake a claim ahead of us?

I'm enjoying the season, but in regards to playoffs, wake me up when we're 8-6, like unifiedtheory said.

That was the thing though, their defense has been playing a lot better the last few weeks. They've held teams to 16, 0, and 7 the last three weeks. With their offense if they can hold teams under 28 they have a great shot at winning.

But who have they faced. NO, Cleveland, and Baltimore. New Orleans was on a slide and Cincy caught them at the right time, Cleveland does not have a good offense and never know what they will play like on a week to week basis and Baltimore has a sparattic offense and win games because of their defense which they couldn't do last night because they didn't get any turnovers.

Well NO does have a great offense, so that was a solid job there. What can you say about Cleveland and Baltimore? Yea not great offenses but they scored 0 and 7 respectively. Im not saying Cincy's defense is a powerhouse by any stretch, but they dont have to be. Cincy is like Indy, if they can hold teams to under 21 or so they will win way more often than not. I think Cincy is playing their best ball at the best time right now, they have a good shot at the playoffs.
