Willis has finally gotten the recognition that he deserves. He has flown under the radar because of the team on which he played. This is awesome. OXFORD IS ROCKIN' TONIGHT!!!

Nice job Willis! We'll miss you!!!

Outstanding. Always like the small school guy to get some recognition. I had obviously heard of Laurinaitus and Posluzsny.....but a large part probably due to who they play for...not that either had bad stats.
Could be a good year to pick up another linebacker in the draft me thinks:D

thats why you dont hear about him. He plays on a team that gets no respect for the record. But he just earned alot a few minutes ago!

I have a couple of posts in the Draft Forum about Willis. I've been pushing for him for a while now. Although I am somewhat of a homer (student at Ole Miss), there is no denying Willis' talent.

However, is there any chance this guy could play outside? He looks VERY small to be a MLB, and we already have ZT for at least another year, and Crowder right behind him....

Zach Thomas is "very small". Willis is 6'2" and 230+lbs. "Very small" is a bit harsh. Putting weight on his frame will not be an issue. He has the speed to play either outside or inside. The reason he played inside at Ole Miss is because he was the best player on the team and it allowed him to make more plays in the 4-3 that Ole Miss played. Does he look "very small" to you in this pic?

Willis will be able to play any LB position. Like I said in a prior thread, he reminds me a little of LeMar Marshall.

that story about the louisville band member was pretty touching. I like how he mentioned everybody and thanked them EXCEPT his dad.... and he was the one working the grave yard shift for UPS and pushing him around in a wheel chair
