Maybe they should look at Jackie Sherrill.

lol

The Bammers have deserved this ever since they unfairly showed Gene Stallings the door. If you think about it that program has been on a downhill slide since that decission.

I feel bad for Alabama fans, but I don't feel the least bit bad for the administration. Years of unrealistic expectations have finally caught up to them. They get rid a coach that went 10-2 last year and wasn't that bad. Now they try to buy their way back into the college elite, by throwing their weight around, trying to pick on a school with less money, and trying to take away the best asset our school has.

We originally had a meeting and verbal agreement, but I decided to go back to coaching the city flag peewee team, I feel like I have a better chance to win here. My star QB and RB are only 7 and 8 years old going into next season.

I wouldn't be laughing yet. Alabama is expected to make another run at Saban. Possibly after the Dolphins finish their regular season.

don't feel too bad alabama fans. i'm watching the 4A High School Championship game here in florida. and this QB Robert Marve for Plant, who commited to Alabama, looks really good. he hasn't been getting much help from his line and he keeps scrambling around and completing a ton of passes on the move. nice strong arm and release, too.

and he just tied Tim Tebow's Florida TD record! :D against Tebow's old team, ironically. ;)

I heard his commit to Bama has softened with the firing of Shula, his father used to play with Shula I believe. But who knows.

No one time Tennessee grad assistant would take a job at Bama, its too far beneath Gruden.

I can picture her now, standing in front of the podium with that stupid Chiuaua dog in her $20,000 purse/pet carrier.

Also, I am a Dolphins fan who just is posting thing I see and here. I never post things that I can't back up. I will always have a link or TV station to back me up.

Why is it so hard to believe Nick Saban when he says he is NOT interested?

I think Byron and Crypt are both right.

Alabama is arrogant enough to keep chasing after Saban.
Saban is completely not interested in the Bammers.

The Crypt's main point though is that he was unfairly being called a troll.

The Crimson Tide coaching search took a break during the weekend as Mal Moore determines which direction to follow next. The next phase could stay with the candidates from smaller programs, such as Navy head coach Paul Johnson and Wake Forest’s Jim Grobe. (http://www.decaturdaily.com/decaturdaily/sports/061211/ua.shtml) Both emerged as possibilities soon after Alabama fired Mike Shula on Nov. 26
Johnson recently agreed in principle to a revamped, incentive-laden contract with Navy that could pay him close to $1.8 million a year. Some industry insiders believe he is the best candidate, though his triple-option running attack does not breed excitement. Alabama also might have an interest in LSU offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher, 41, who has coached for the Tigers since 2000. Other potential assistant coaching possibilities are Florida defensive coordinator Charlie Strong and Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Norm Chow, a former assistant coach at BYU, Southern California and North Carolina State. Chow said recently that he is not interested in the Tide job.

:D

Until you post something other than dubious press sources from Alabama or the national media that is referencing the Alabama press ,all of the rumors proving false and lacking in credibility you cant blame people for thinking you are a troll.Thats what trolls do.Harp on an agenda and Inflame .Not saying you are one but how about moving on to another topic until the end of the season when you say that this is going to happen.

To date I have never seen you post about any other subject.

The way I look at it is that in the very unlikely event he decides to take the Alabama job at the end of the year as you suspect then he is the wrong man for the Miami Dolphins HC.

I feel confident he is the right man for the job and that he is not going to leave us in a lurch so lets enjoy the ride.:D

PS456 turns down the job, he was offered but he is still in the running according to multiple made up sources.
