Should be a great game. Of course I like SC 24-21. Early thoughts?

Should be a great game. Of course I like SC 24-21. Early thoughts?well I going to be honest if Carr loses to USC he should be fired. Losing 3 out of the 4 rose bowls would be bad enough, but losing to a USC team that lost to two unranked PAC-10 teams that would sad. That being said USC does have talent and Michigan must be prepared after the letdown of not playing in the NC game. I say Hart and Henne have a great game ,and Michigan gets pressure on Booty. Michigan wins 28-14.

My heart is with USC, but my mind says Ohio is a well rested and proven team.

I'm predicting Ohio 34 USC 24 - but I'd be happy if USC won.

By the way, I want USC to win this thing, although I think Michigan has the tools to dominate.

As much as I hate Ohio State I think it would be funny if Michigan crushes USC and OSU crushes Florida

Then we watch Michigan fans complain that they should have been in the NC game. (I Think they should be)

Not trying to hijack the thread or anything- but if Michigan had gone to the National Championship and lost would there be any less contraversy?

And if Michigan had gone to the National Championship and Won, could the argument then be made that the title should be shared?

Thats a valid point.

But for everyone that says 'that was Michigans NC game against OSU and they lost' last time I checked the NC game isnt played on the teams home field...

We need some sort of playoff even if its just the top 4 teams IMO

Anyway I do see Michigan winning this game vs USC even if its not by a lot.

Is it possible for both teams to lose? Because that's what I'm rooting for.

IMO, this game is going to be the best Bowl game out of them all. Even better than the National Championship game. Should be a classic.

Michigan will win the game, the Trojans couldn't beat Oregon State for cryin' out loud, then they stink up the joint against the UCLA Bruins, what makes you think they can beat a good Michigan team? All I keep hearing is how good the SEC is the best conference, I say baloney, the Big Ten is the best.

Honestly it should be a good game.

It really depends on which USC team shows up. If they look like they did against UCLA or Oregon State then they get KILLED bad. If they show up and play (which I think they will - Pete Carroll is a great College coach) then it will be which ever team turns the ball over the least.

Sec > Big 10

When was the last time the big 10 had 4 or 5 teams with National Championship hopes at least midway through the season? Enough said.

Your not honestly going to try and debate that are you? No one else is exaggerating nearly as much as you have been, in every thread . That I've seen anyway.

Didn't you make a thread debating that Florida should be #1 over Ohio State? I mean I completely understand why. But to some that could be taken as an exaggeration.

Anyway, back to the Rose Bowl. I think this is going to be the best bowl game of them all. Funny how it ended up being Big 10/Pac 10 even with the stupid BCS.

 Did you even read that thread?

I didn't write anything it. I just posted an article about one of the voters, who is a known Gator Hater, who voted them #1.

Of all people I would think you could sense sarcasm since you such an expert at using it.

So we all know that the SEC is brutal and can really only be contested by the football machines from CYBERBALL (maybe). But unfortunately this is not an SEC thread. Back to the big game. I think it's crazy that Michigan is dark blue and SC is dark red. Thoughts?

commenting on the poster instead of the post is not adding anything either. Let's keep it on topic.

Do you ever attempt to add anything constructive to this forum, or do you just like to watch yourself type?

A little of both.

Now I know the Big Ten and Pac 10 are Pop Warner conferences but let's keep this about the Rose Bowl. I'm a little scared of Michigan after we layed that giant egg against UCLA. I'm not sure that the Trojans are gonna be up for this game. They haven't played in a secondary bowl in awhile. I'm going to he game however and that will definitely help SC. I just don't know if it will be enough.

21-20 SC
