Hey guys,
As some of you are aware, my wife Holly and I have two little boys with special needs, both of who are named after Zach Thomas. Our oldest son Zach, was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 2. We are in the process of raising money for an Autism assitance dog for him. We are extremely close to our goal. I'm not asking you to make a donation, but I would like for you to visit his website and learn more about Autism and the organization we are raising money for to help Zach get his own Autism assistance dog. Thanks for looking and Merry Christmas to each of you. Let's whip some NY Jets *** on Christmas night. The website is http://www.pawsforzach.com (http://www.pawsforzach.com/)

Merry Christmas,

Hey all! Thanks for the words of encouragement. Marty, it has been a long time my friend. Wish I was at the game Monday, but I'll enjoy it from home. I rarely post because my wife and I stay very busy with our two little boys. Mason says Jets suck and Dolphins rule. He's such a smart little boy. Have fun at the game. Take care everyone.

Thanks for looking at the website guys. Only Zach has autism. Our other son Mason, has achonroplaysia, commonly refered to as dwarfism. You may have seen the show Little People Big World on The Learning Channel. The show is a real life story of a married couple with dwarfism and their family. Both our boys have special needs and both are a tremendous joy in our lives. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas with the exception of the Dolphins losing last night. My Christmas ended on a sour note due to the game. However, I'm a glass is half full kind of guy, soooo I look forward to a better draft pick. Here's to losing to the Colts next week and gaining a few more spots in next year's draft.

Take care and Go Dolphins!

What a touching story and your optimism is inspirational. One of Dan Marino's sons is also autistic.

Michael Marino is the son you are talking about. He has made tremendous strides in his development over the years. Dan Marino has done great things in his career and what he has done in his efforts to help his son and others with developmental disabilities are by far his greatest accomplishments. I look forward to meeting him one day. I always wanted to meet him to tell him how much I loved watching him play. Now I'd rather discuss our children and their challenges.
