View Full Version : how well does the wireless work for the 360?

the ethernet cable that comes with it is about 10-15 feet short of my modem i figure, i gots a laptop, i gots a wireless connection...why not just go wireless on the 360 too...but how well does it work?

my frineds got his hooked up that way and has never had any issues....i got my 360 through wired and ps3 wireless and both work perfect.... so i think if your laptops good your 360 should work just fine as well.

Edit: wow, I can't read. The 360's wireless works just fine, as long as your router has sufficient signal strength and is configured to minimize interference... just like any other wireless device out there.

Microsoft has an installation/setup guide (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/systemsetup/xbox360/accessories/wirelessnetworkadapter.htm) online.

Mine works fine and I have the router upstairs and the adapter connected and hidden behind my TV so I don't ever see it. I also use one of the regular XBox adapters on my 360 and it works fine...

Should work great, never heard any issues with WiFi on the 360. It's real convienient to have it on my PS3.
