I played basketball in college instead of football, but became a ProBowl player for the Miami Dolphins. Who am I?:)

Another hint:

This player has not been seen at any of the '72 Dolphin reunions for at least the last 13 years.

Maybe so, but Mandich did play football at Michigan, in fact was a captain. The player I'm talking about didn't play a lick of college football, led his team in rebounds as a senior in basketball.

Ding, ding, ding, ding....FINALLY! We have a winner!

Moore went on to play 98 games for Miami where he was a starter in Super Bowl VII, and a Pro Bowl selection in 1973. "I have a job to do, and if we are going to win, I have to do it well," said a modest Moore, who did not play college football.

28. Name the Pro Bowl offensive tackle who appeared in three consecutive Super Bowls with the Miami Dolphins after leading Lamar in rebounding as a senior with 12.6 per game in 1968-69.

28. Wayne Moore

BTW-the reason Moore hasn't been seen at any '72 Dolphin reunions for the last 13 years? He passed away in 1989.
