What kind of parent names their kid Cam Cameron? Seriously.

Thats like John Johnson, Sue Susan, Eric Erickson or something.

Let's get your feelings on record before the fact.:lol:I'd be cautiously optimistic. Seems like an offensive genious so he should be able to share this w/ whomever ends up being the OC, whether it's Moolarky or not.

I'd be curious to see if he can duplicate the ground game he has in SD w/ Ronnie (and possibly Ricky). No, I don't expect LT-type production, but I expect creative ways to utilize their strengths.

Yeah, I'd much rather have a coach with a losing record in college than one who's been a coach of the year in the NFL. But then again, Jauron also had the talented core of Jim Miller(or Shane Mattews or Cade McNown), Anthony Thomas, and Marty Booker. See, that's the difference between college and the NFL, and why Nick the Great ran back to the college ranks. College ball is about recruiting the best players -- or at least, better players -- than your rivals. The actual coaching part is easy if you collect top players and you pad half your schedule with the likes of Local State Teachers College which has a recruiting budget of zilch.

Hey guys, did I miss something. What's up w/ these "Phin Dollars."

What can we do w/ them?

Right now all you can do with them is play vbookie. They might expand it to include other things though.

Phin Dollars

Phin Dollars are virtual currency that you earn by being an active member of the board. Dollars are gained to the largest degree by posting long and well thought out posts.

Posts in the Ladies Lounge will not add to your Phin Dollars.

vBookie

vBookie is the only place at this time where you can spend your Phin Dollars and is a feature that allows you to wager virtual dollars on events that will be posted in the vBookie forum (http://www.finheaven.com/boardvb2/forumdisplay.php?f=89)

For the time being, only staff can add threads to that forum but everyone is allowed to post discussions about the events.

How are Dollars Awarded?

Here's how it breaks down:

Registering: 10
Paid membership: 100
Birthday: 100
Referrals: 50
Points per post count: 0.01 per character
Adding public profile pic: 100 (150 points deducted if they remove it)
New Arcade championship: 1000 (25 points cost to play a game)
Start thread: 1
Reply: 0.5

Effects of Spamming

If a member starts a thread or reply that, in the opinion of the staff was aimed at increasing your virtual dollars, that post or reply will be sent to Spam forum. All posts moved to spam will receive exactly the opposite of the reward of a good post. For example, if the post would have earned 10 dollars, once it is moved to spam, -$10 will be deducted from the poster's total.

This season is up in the air, right now. With Wanny, losing was expected. With Nick, a Super Bowl was imminent. Now with Cam Cam, we don't know what to expect. There's a certain comfort going into the season like this, it's like watching a movie you know nothing about, just sit back and watch the story unfold.
