IMO thats not the only change that needs to be made, that team has talent but they just dont have enough talent, and they never will because with KG's contract they will never be able to afford them.

Kind of like how the Heat couldn't acquire any talent with Shaq's contract? Or Dallas after they handed out a max deal to Finley?

The blame lies squarely on the shoulders of McHale. The man has done one thing right in the last decade, and that was drafting KG. First he ruins the team by trying to build with Marbury instead of Ray Allen...there goes the first 3 years, then he cheats and gets caught with Joe Smith, destroying another 3 years. Who knows how he kept his job after that one. Then he goes and spend the next few years drafting busts straight out of high school in a vain attempt to find the next KG. The man has spent a decade putting trash around the best player in the NBA.

The only good thing he can do is trade KG to the Lakers. :)
