View Full Version : It's Tax Time -- The Mor's Top 10 things to do with Tax Returns

It's that time of year again... Tax time. It's the time of year us poor folks long for. We get a freebie of $1000+ (generally) for no good reason.

So what's this thread all about Mor? Let me tell you. It's about being responsible with your new found fortune. Wait, a thousand bucks isn't a fortune! The hell it ain't. One grand can make a world of difference to us normal folk.

A good responsible person will throw it in a savings account, but some kind of high intrest saving option, or pay off a credit card... We don't wanna do that do we? Hell no. We want to have fun. Here's The Mor's top 10 things to do with your tax return....

10. Donate it to the red cross - Ok, this is an actual good thing to do. So if you're rich enough that your return doesn't matter... you probably had to pay money to the IRS anyway.

9. Blow your fortune at the Har Rock Casino - You're gonna waste your loot anyways... Might as well waste it trying to get rich.

8. Purchase a sex change for FinsNCanes - He wants to be an asian woman, let's help him get there.

7. Buy a PlayStation 3 - Probably the most over rated use of $600 anywhere, the PS3 has no real hard hitting games... but everyone still wants one. Make that tax money work for you.

6. Donate your money to your local college student at your local strip club - Some aspiring your doctor is riding a guys junk in late night clubs trying to work her way through college. We should help her succeed.

5. Take a road trip to Fort Myers - D-days home is a happy place when there's lots of booze and biatches. Join the festivities.

4. Order $800 worth or porn and smut magazines and have it delivered to the person you hate the most at work - Make sure you have a special request done so that the boxes are not annonymous.

3. Buy new rims for your car - Possible the worst investment ever, after market rims lower the value of your car and they're not needed. But I still want them. Chrome 22" rims please!

2. Call Carnival Cruises and go on a "singles" cruise - Single women on "singles" cruises like to have a lot of "singles" sex. Please, have some.

1. Send your money to The Mor and he will personally waist it for you. Free of charge of course. PM me for instructions on sending me your money.

I chuckle at the people who get over 1000+ back in taxes and think its a good thing and are happy with it and plan on buying a large item with it. You just let the government borrow your money for an entire year, interest free.

Its not FREE MONEY, its money back to you that YOU GAVE THEM throughout the year. I always try to owe around 800-1000 bucks come tax time. Anything over that and you might flag the IRS but when you owe the smaller amounts, the IRS usually doesnt waste time with that.

That 800-1,000 bucks is money I could invest or collect interest on throughout the year and when tax time comes, I take it out and pay off what I owe the IRS and keep the interest and earnings on the money. Would you ever expect a bank to give you an interest free loan for a year? Why then do it for the government. Ideally, you should really try to be as close to $0 as possible but if you are careful and know how to keep track of what you owe closely and like investing, owing money is financially better than getting a large return.

If anyone is working and getting a large return and forsee's themself having no signinficant changes in the following year, you should change your withholdings to be closer to zero.

 Well here is what we can do for next year. You can change your forms to have the IRS take out less money and therefore have more money per paycheck so that at tax time, your refund should be as close to $0 as possible. You can send Philter the extra money taken out of each paycheck instead of letting the gov hold it for you. You will still have the same amount of cash you normally would per each paycheck. Philter will invest your money.

Come tax time, Philter will send you your money back that you gave me throughout the year plus at least 5% earned on your original amount.

Your "tax refund" is now larger. Merry Xmas.
