I just gotta know, what do most Dol-Fans think is the BIGGEST NEED to address in the draft or FA this year. With the roster we have, what is our BIGGEST NEED...ive seen many threads, just not an actual poll. So it'll be interesting to see what the majority of this forum thinks.

Me...i say LG.

so lots of you think Jeno James and Kendyl Jacox arent as big a concern...as D-Mac?? But but...what about Alabi and Toledo grooming?

Alabi so far is hype and Toledo is a gaurd. Plus we have Fonoti to play G as well.

does anybody know...in all the sacks we got this year...where did most of them come from??? like...which Lineman position gave up most sacks?? i thought i read that the RG spot gave up the most sacks and loss of yardage.

LT is just a lot more important than either guard position. You can get away with a lesser talent at those spots, but if you have a week left tackle, your QB is gonna be on his back all day. And McIntosh doesn't seem like the answer to me.

Great poll...I see offense, offense and more offense as our biggest needs.

2. LT
3. QB
4. LB
5. CB - playmaker
6. DL

Until we find a true #1 our QBs will always look worse than they are. Of course, since McIntosh is a UFA that will have to be addressed. Hopefully Cameron will let QBs on roster battle it out and not just hand job to an inept QB this year.

QB, and every position on offense besides RB. But even then, a young RB wouldn't hurt to compliment Ronnie Brown incase Ricky Williams blows up in smoke in our face again.

I have to go with qb.I think we need to upgrade a few positions but qb is #1 on my list.I dont feel Culpepper is going to be able to get it done.

Wouldnt it be awsome to have Dwight Stevenson like talent at center again. A real leader, silent, consistent, that displays good command of
situational decisions and can explode when necessary. The one O-line position that truly impacts the entire line. I would love nothing more than to
know we will get that 1 yard when we need it. A poker faced, analytical,
strong, quick Center...thats where I believe we improve the most. :cooldude:

LT and a SLB

Hopefully the Ravens don't franchise Adalius Thomas and we can snatch him up and eliminate a need through FA.

If i was the GM my priorities and strategy would be as follows, number one,,, if daunte is healthy iam set at QB with him and lemon,i like lemon a lot he's got good skills big arm and he's got nice intangibles{mobility, pocket awareness}so it looks as though all signs are pointing to a healthy daunte with lemon giving him a run for his money,,contrary to what some of you think,i believe that to be a great QB situation.

With QB being eliminated from my priorities i turn to what this team really needs and what we can get by with and how free agency fits into the equation.

I say first and foremost we need a playmaker on offense, something that this franchise has never had before,an X factor that can take it to the house on a five yard hitch,i'am talking talent i'am talking world class speed,i'am talking our version of Reggie Bush,,,,i'am eyeballin Teddy Ginn at #9.

I believe our defense is good and would like to add one of two big free agents to be our new outside linebacker,,briggs or adalius would be ideal.

I know what your thinking,,the O line needs to be addressed and your right,we have a lot of young guys waiting in the wings so i say we go free agency.
If levi tests well than i think about nabbing him at #9 but if not we have no option to improve that area at that draft position,it makes sense to go free agency for the Oline,we got enough projects.

so to recap i would say our priorities are as follows combining the draft and free agency,Xfactor ON OFFENSE,OLINE,OUTSIDE LINEBACKER, draft for depth on defense in rounds 2 thru 7
