That Dead Presidents is pretty nice, probably my second favorite rap song ever behind One Mic by Nas.......well, it's at least top 5 for me. Kid has some talent.

The kid definitely has some innovation by putting guitar to the tracks, but as a guitarist he's marginally talented at best. Nothing special as far as his playing is concerned.

lol - i was gonna post something similar but then i read 800+ posts on the youtube site about how outstanding errybody thought it was and then i thought maybe i was missing something - the kid is mediocre at best - he's no prince on guitar i'll tell you that - lol

As a marginally talented (at best) guitar player, I thought it was really cool. :)

my take:

Dead presidents is one of my favorite hip hop songs ever (i don't care for hip hop anymore, haven't listened to it in ten years, but grew up listening to it). I love the original, didn't care for the rock version.

the rock version of NY i loved... i think that song lends itself better to a guitar rendition than dead presidents, where he is just free-stylin most of the song and it really doesn't go along with it. JMO.
