Anybody catch the first episode on Comedy Central? I think she's absolutely hilarious and it looks like a pretty awesome show. Definitely not one for the little kiddies though.

Let's just say she compared a girl's pubic hair to looking like Cat Stevens' face.

I was watching Comedy Central the other night watching Fast Times at Ridgemont High and 16 Candles... and man every other commercial was the Silverman Project.

Looked funny, I'll try and catch it

There definitely were some funny parts, and I'm going to catch the 2nd episode.

1st episode > 2nd episode

though there were a few funny jokes, the first episode was WAY better IMO

So far I have been unimpressed with the quality of writing as well as Sarah's style of comedy. It's quite sad really that in a show about "Sarah Silverman", she is upstaged repeatedly by her fellow comics in the show.

I guess it's just not for me. God, please speed the planet up so South Park and Family Guy get back on season already.

rome and this show are 1 and 2 in my book - the pure randomness of this show is what makes it - that and what has become the obligatory break out into song, is genius - i'd buy the cookie party song if it was out on cd

This is true. But then again, the strong supporting cast she has really helps the show. Without them, it'd be a lot worse.

I've only caught pieces of it but I liked what I saw quite a bit. The scene of her in the police station when her sister comes and gets her out in the first episode I believe had me rolling.

That doesn't say much considering that most women comics suck donkey balls.

it's funny when you get to know a poster enough here from reading their past posts, that you can tell what they are going to write about something before they even do - like for example, i knew pats456 was gonna write something about female comics sucking donkey balls

Sarah Silverman is alright. One of the very few female comedians that can actually make me laugh..

Lisa Lampanelli isn't horrible either. I like the bit where she talks about how she dates black guys cause they age better then asks the guy in the front row how old he is.

"How old are you sir?" 43.."You look 76, kill yourself" it made me laugh.

PS - The cheerleader chick from Heroes is on Conan right now. I wanna hit it.

I love Lisa's delivery techniques, but sometimes it gets old to hear her 1,000,001st joke about dating black men. I wish she had a wider range of material because she has some great talents that many comedians lack.
