ok i wanted to open a sig i was working on in photoshop but the file was not the first option to chose to open. it was alphabetical...is there a way to when you open a file it automatically has the first one you saved on top? if no one understands ill post pics. also 1K phin bucks to the one that fixes this problem!

If I understand what you're wanting to do, then right click the white background of the open window. Highlight the view option and then choose details. Then sort by date modified to get the last one you worked with to be at the top.

yeah but when i do that i keep having to have to do that every time in order to get the last thing i worked on...any way i dont have to?

Don't think there is a way to change permanently it in the open box of Photoshop.

Why not use the Open Recent menu of PS?

another thing that happens is when i go to upload a pic its in alphabet order rather than the last thing i saved...

I don't think there is a way to change it perm. I always just right click, date modified for stuff like that.

edit: try opening the folder in a separate location, changing it so that it sorts as date modified, and then try opening back from photoshop

i used to have it where the last thing i made was the first thing i uploaded....today everything changed

open from a separate folder, right click, and under the arrange thing make sure auto-arrange isn't on...i dunno, maybe im talking about the completely wrong thing but that's all i can think of
