Does one actually become a Bills Fan. Does a bills fan say," well, my parents are losers so I will be too" Or "I'm the 5th generation family of losers"

Anyway, I'm thinking it might have something to do with the weather. I punch in what I believe the Zip code for Buffalo, 00004, into the weather channel forecast box and up comes a series of box' of snow clouds and temps not going over 18 degrees for the next week. So what does a Bills fan do when the temps are low and the snow is up to your nutz, and thats pretty high since it's in your mothers mouth after your father kicked her in the face cuz he caught you two going at it again.
Anyway, does that theory sound about right? Is it all weather related? or is it all that time they spend snowed in with no TV and no way out to get more 40's

Well Bry, I think it`s a situation where the gene pool somehow got bastardized in some monkeys back in the day and may hold the key to the "missing link". B-lo comes to mind.

Love the zip-code btw.:D

You are half right.

I live in NY too and I hate the Bills with a passion, so it obviously doesn't have an impact on everybody. I think the Bills fan is a "special" breed that is easily influenced by shiny objects and shadow puppets. It also doesn't hurt that Bills merchandise doesn't sell, so it all gets donated to the Salvation Army and Special Ed schools.

Have any of you been to Buffalo? Trust me when I tell you that the Bills are the most exciting thing in town!

I know that's not saying too much, but it does explain how people become Bills fans!

Think of it this way. You're trapped in a Turkish prison for years. You weight about 100 pounds because all they feed you is ground up leaves and calf's brains. Then, one day, they give you oatmeal!!

You'll start thinking of oatmeal as filet mignon.

I find it amusing when Bills fans say "Oh yeah, well you've never even been to B-lo". Well, I can say that I have and I wasn't impressed. Don't get me wrong, there weren't nearly as many syringes on the ground as I anticipated, but it was still a dump.

But other than that, it's easy to get around B-lo on the way to PA or Niagra Falls

You guys are kidding right?

Buffalo in the winter is awesome. The ice fishing, skiing, sledding, skating, snowmobiling, hunting (tracking in the snow is awesome, no waiting in tree stands all day for nothing), snowshoeing, 4 wheeling mountain trails, snowball fights, snowdays off from work/school. There's something to be said about going sledding and getting soaked and then shedding your wet clothes and jumping into a sleeping bag with your girlfriend as the two of you warm each other up.

Summer time in Buffalo is the best. Thaw out a town that's been covered in snow for months and you have 1 hell of a summer. All the festivals, the lakes, the rivers, and the beaches (no medical waste or illegals washing up on the shores of Lake Erie). The fishing is second to none, the Humidity and temperature dont prevent you from going outside and enjoying the day. Not to mention that Buffalo is one of the cleanest cities in the USA.

Not convinced, *ssmonkey. Keep trying. Why is the population diminishing so rapidly? Oh yeah. Children of inbreeding are often sterile. Don't let your dad know what you and your sister do when you're 'camping out' in the living room.

The population is diminishing because all the OLD PEOPLE are moving to Florida.

Inbreeding? We yankees dont practice it. I do however believe most of the nation believes southerns to be the true masters of inbreeding.

I agree that certain parts of the south are known for inbreeding, but the north had a few inbreds of their own. We just put them all on a train and sent them to a WNY city called Buffalo where they continue to multiply to this day.

Same arguement, GB is a pretty decent city and DC is a scumhole just like Miami.

Miamis homeless problem is much worse, not too many people without shelter are going to stick around in 6 feet of snow. Your drug and gang problems are also much worse.

That is all opinion....you have no proof of any of that. And Miami has its parts but it is far from a scumhole. I grew up in Ft, Lauderdale, and to this day that is the nicest place I have ever lived. Yes there was crime, but theres crime everywhere.
