How is the Raider offense 98? There is nobody on the "O" under 40 years old. Their "D" lost Adams, Dorsett, and has Romo signed back with them yet??
How can our "D" be 93 with us being 3rd last year and adding pro bowls to our only two weaknesses, and the Bucs being a 98 after losing the super bowl MVP. No way it is THAT big of a gap between the two.

My only bone to pick is with them rating the Raiders at 94. Thats ridiculous.

Yes, I agree with the Tampa D rating. They only lost a safety who wasn't a very big part of their defense. He just happened to get a couple of picks in the Super Bowl, its like when that one dude picked off Neil O'Donnell in the super bowl. We added a couple of people to our defense but Tampa's D showed they know how to play together and be effective. Our D folds. Bottom line. They will have to prove everyone wrong by being the best defense in the league before we can just expect them to be rated as highly as Tampa.

Overall, other than the None-errrs and the Traitors, I don't see too much of a problem. Relatively speaking, the overall score for the 'Fins is one of the highest on the game and, other than the Bucs, the 'Fins have the highest rated defense. In fact, other than the Traitors, the 'Fins are the only other team in the game with a rating above 90. Why the Faiders- with broken Charles Woodson; a 90 year old roid raged LB; a 90 year old safety; a really old D-Line with Trace Armstrong who's essentially said he's done; and question marks all over the place- is well beyond me. :shakeno:

LOL. Our offense is tied with mighty Buffalo. And our defense is a full 12 points higher.

Madden ratings favor teams with older players. That's why the Raiders are "awesome". I bet that everyone the Dolphins picked up will be a 90 or more.

Knight, Seau especially.

27 is old? Hmmm, the only people I know of who think 27 is old are 12 years old and below. I guess that shows us all where Satan-woship's mentality lies.

Don't feel bad, people were just too preoccupied with the whole Griese thing at the time. You just have to time your posts better.

Sensitive, are we?! Seau is 34. That's old. As for Knight, he's young in age but old for a safety that tackles & hits the way he does. 2003 will be his 7th year. Take a look at the average age of strong safeties and the wear and tear.

As for the "12 year's old" and satan blah blah blah, unnecessary ad hominem attacks taken outside the "smack room", demonstrates a bit of emotional immaturity, don't you think?!

"ad hominem"...did someone learn a new term today and I just gave them an opportunity to use it? I think so.

BTW- why did this thread get moved? It's Dolphins related.

I don't know about the Niners being at 91 and the Raiders at 94 does seem to beatad high but I think until you knock off Gannon Rice and Brown, you have to rate them high, even if their age is almost as high as their player rnaking lol.

By the wya the Tampa Bay defense is still the strongest until someone proves otherwise. Tagigng onto ck's point, they lost their version of Larry Brown (Allen?) (Cowboys safety who was Super Bowl MVP and cashed in with the Raiders and preceded to do nothing).

Plus, I think everyone is forgetting that it says subject to change and also, the Dolphins are in the 90's off of a seaosn in which they finished next to last in the division and out of the playoffs. Why is everyone complaining?

im happy as hell the phins are ranked that high. i agree with samphin and facts are facts, we didnt make the playoffs. tampa bay has a gripe if anyone, they smoked the raiders and are still ranked lower. i love madden and im so happy i can be the phins to smoke everyone with. you will see me at the madden challenge this year with the mighty phins. damn, i wish this game was on xbox live. my screen name on xblive, by the way, is unclemonty. look me up for a challenge on other games.
