Would he be a good QB to draft after the first round (if we don't get Quinn or Russel).

I like Zabransky, but he will be around later in the draft.

He's not ready for NFL speed. I'd rather not pick a guy from a weak conference who wasn't even a good pocket passer in that conference.

I'm not a big Zabransky fan. I just don't think he has all of the tools needed to succeed in the pros. Yes, Boise State was a great story this season and Zabransky played a major role in that, but I don't think his game translates to the pros well. If if were not for one of the most ridiculous string of successful trick plays in football history, Zabranskys career would have ended with him throwing a horrible interception and killing his teams chance for a comeback. I don't think so many people would want him if it ended that way.

I'm with you! If we spent a 6th or 7th round pick on him, I'd be cool with that.

Zabransky is a tough guy, 3 year starter at Bosie State. he has a good arm, but he doesnt have great NFL size and he can make a lot of bad desicions, but I wouldnt mind taking him in a later round....like in the 2nd day

This guy could be the biggest surprise of this years draft. He is a winner.

He went 30 wins 5 losses in his career at Boise. He is a great athlete and an excellent scrambler. He runs a 4.6 40. He may run an even lower time at the combine. He has dicontinued his studies to prepare for the combine.

He wasn't just a big winner last year, his completion % was 67 and he threw just 7 int with 30 some TD's and was only sacked 19 times and a lot of those were not true sacks. His QB rating in 06 was ridiculous. I don't remember what exactly it was and don't have time to look it up but it was high.

He could be destined for Canada or he could be the second coming of Brett Favre. At 6'2" 210, he even looks a little like Brett when he came into the league.

I don't share in the adulation of Quinn. I would much rather draft Z and see how he developes in a couple of years. He can be had much later for alot less money and who really knows which guy is going to be more successful down the road. It's kind of hard to argue against a 67 percent completion record.

Definitely not a first day pick, but I wouldn't mind getting him later. He's a coachable, and smart overachiver which is why those "trick" plays worked. That "statue" play worked because he sold it beautifully. Better than any I've seen before. I would rather have a bunch of overachivers like ZT and Welker that give 110% all of the time, than the underachievers that routinely let us down.

Definitly a good later round pick. I think he has the tools, i really do, he reminds me a lot of Jeff Garcia, the way he moves around and the type of ability he has. Im worried he may be more of a west coast kind of guy though.
