Browns center LeCharles Bentley, who tore a patellar tendon on the third play of an 11-on-11 scrimmage at the first practice of training camp, could undergo a third surgery on his bad knee (http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/CLE/10009915), which would knock him out for the entire 2007 season.
The condition could also end his career.

A staph infection developed in Bentley's knee after the first surgery, which required in a second surgery and a month-long stay at the Cleveland Clinic.

Interesting. A lot of people here wanted him. Its unfortunate that one fluke injury may have ended his career.

EDIT:
My bad, the title should say Bentley, not Bently

You realize how serious a staph infection can be, right? This isn't baby-momma talk.

Shame for Cleveland, they made a strong move last year to sign him and he got hurt in like the first practice, now his career might be over? Whew.

Wow that really is sad news I hope he at least returns to health where his leg isn't screwed for life!

Also, now is there away Cleveland can get him from off the cap space because that could make them heavy contenders this offseason!
