John Wendling/S/Wyoming: The forceful safety was a main cog in Wyoming's top-rated pass defense. He weighs 220 pounds and is expected to break 4.4 in the 40, which would secure him a spot in the top 75 picks.
Paul Soliai/DT/Utah: Already anointed by scouts as the next top Polynesian performer at the combine, Soliai is ready to produce some eye-popping numbers. He weighs 338 pounds, is expected to run under five seconds and should complete 35 repetitions on the bench.
Andy Alleman/G/Akron: A former defensive lineman, Alleman is a little known player battling for a top-five spot at the guard position. At 306 pounds, he is another lineman who'll likely break the five-second mark in the 40 and push up 225 pounds around 35 repetitions.
Yamon Figurs/WR-RS/Kansas State: Figurs will be one of the fastest players at the combine. The sleek pass-catcher could be one of the few athletes who runs faster than 4.3 in the 40.
Eldra Buckley/RB/Tennessee-Chattanooga: The explosive running back has averaged 5.6 yards on 432 carries the past two seasons and is ready to showcase his game-breaking speed. Expect the 200-pound Buckley to run in the 4.3 range.

Any thoughts on these players? How about that Yamon Figurs, if speed is what Mueller/Cam want on offense, a poor man's Ginn?

I don't think Solai and Weddling are sleepers. There names are pretty much out there now. They can both play.

But on the other hand, Alleman, Figurs, and Buckley are intriguing.

Alleman in the 3rd if he's there! If not, and he's there in the 4th, pull the freakin' trigger.

I think the first four we can use all in the later rounds, if they are any good (I'm thinking strictly of position need, I am not a draft guru so I have no idea about these players abilities, but then again that's why I posted it!)

I go to school at UTC. Eldra Buckley is good, but not a 4.3 back. He is explosive, but does not show great vision. I seriously doubt he will make an NFL team. With this said, he is still the best player we have had come out of UTC since Terell Owens.

he may be a good practice squad player to have around.

Yamon in a later round would be sweet. I have watched first hand every game of his career here at K-State. He single handedly won us some games with his return ability and his pass catching. Go Cats. GO PHINS!!

Buckley should be there in later rounds anyways. I would take him with a 6th or 7th round picks. I only got to see a quick highlight of him but seems like a sleeper to me.

Figurs isnt much of a sleeper at this point. His speed is on the map. He's possibly faster than Ted Ginn, because he is faster than Hester.. which speaks leaps and bounds about his ability.

Given what Hester has done to the league this year, it " figurs " ( har har ) that he'll be taken in the 3rd round or sooner.. He's pretty lethal at returning the ball.

I REALLY want Miami to scout the **** out of Wright, though.. the Cornerback from UNLV. I really believe he'd be a great 2nd round pickup depending on his workouts ( he wont last til our 3rd rounder )
