DAVIS WANTS BIG MONEY
Word on the NFL street is that free-agent offensive lineman Leonard "Big" Davis, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2001 draft, is looking for $23 million in guaranteed money.
We're told that the request was made during a visit by Davis to the Cowboys.
Consequently, the visit was a short one.
Hey, if the guy was that good, the Cardinals' line wouldn't have been so bad. And the Cards would have used some of their staggering cap surplus to keep him.
Next up for Davis is the Redskins. But if they weren't ready to pay Derrick Dockery, why would they pay Davis?

Let him go get his pay day somewhere else. I don't want him for that.

Leonard Davis is yet another 1st round flop who is an overpaid underachiever. He is NOT worth a lot of $$$ :tantrum: :fire:

We've only released about six players while saving about 29 million and picking up a 2nd and 6th draft pick.

The players on the roster right now could easily fill and likely be an upgrade:
Hagan and Vick for Welker,
Shelton or Alibi for McIntosh,
Evans for Wilkinson,
Roth for Carter, and
R. Williams and Patrick Cobbs for Morris.

The only concern I would have would be McIntosh's spot. They can address that in the draft with Joe Thomas, Levi Brown, Joe Staley or Aaron Sears.

I like the plan so far.

GO PHINS!

I had read that Davis was expecting 10 million a year
and right then I knew either he or whoever signs him has a very
serious drug problem...DONT OVER PAY FOR MARGINAL TALENT

ESPN radio said earlier that Snyder's plane picked him up in Dallas. He'll be a Redskin by tomorrow and they will overpay for him....god luck with that.

Gotta love the redskins mentality. Snyder I could run your team better.
