My present numbers:

$12,560,578 under an "adjusted" salary cap of $106,524,572 with $13,501,501 "dead cap"

I do not have bonus info for DT Traylor or contract info for Vickerson. However, Vickerson is unlikely to be within the the top 51 so his deal has no impact on cap

With the announced releases and trades of Welker and Big Daddy, I now have the Fins:

$19,171,411 under an "adjusted" salary cap of $106,390,572 with $13,501,501 "dead cap"

I do not have contract numbers for TE David Martin, so that will need to be subtracted

:cooldude:

Thanks Clump.....I appreciate your cap work..
I'm assuming that this also includes the release of Harrington and
McMichael, right?

Every team has an additional $134,000 of cap space :D

I believe this may be the CAM adjustment.........time will tell :foundout:

I have adjusted the 1st post to reflect this

I do not have Porter's numbers, so NO, the above numbers do not include him

I do not have contract numbers for TE David Martin or LB Joey Porter, so that will need to be subtracted
Tom Silverstein, of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, reports Miami Dolphins TE David Martin received a $1.2 million signing bonus when he signed a three-year contract with the team. The deal includes base salaries of $595,000 (2007), $730,000 (2008) and $745,000 (2009). He has roster bonuses worth $75,000 each year tied to the number of games he is on the 53-man roster, $25,000 workout bonuses each season and $100,000 in incentives bases on his number of receptions.

Porter's not counted in the above numbers, but I'm betting that Vonnie Holliday's contract took up a pretty big chunk of change.

Wouldn't that be due to the $12M bonus he's getting this year? In relation to his 2007 base salary being much, much lower than 2008 on??

You don't give a player $20 million in guaranteed money for one year. Porter will likely stay the length of his contract.

Worrell's signing bonus is $285K according to Chicago Sun-Times.

I thought that orginally, until I realize we quaranteed him 20 mil..so he'll get 2-3 years out of this deal.

Hey Clump, does Lemons not qualify as a part of our salary structure...I think you may have answered this before, but please refresh, since he isn't on your cap page for us.

If Wilkinson's trade is voided, as expected, what would be the salary cap ramifications if A) we kept him or B) we released him?

Clumpy needs to update. Throw another 7 million in dead cap onto your page thanks to Harrington, Carter, and McMichael. We are about 6.5ish million under right now as of today, 3-29. Merman keeps a pretty nice page going..... :D

I hate to jump the gun but does that mean all that dead cap money will be available to us the following year?
