Julius Jones on the Trade Block?
Philadelphia Daily News
"The Cowboys aren't exactly shopping running back Julius Jones, but they've told teams that have inquired about him that he's for sale for the right price. Cowboys owner-GM Jerry Jones apparently is prepared to hitch his wagon to the team's other young running back, Marion Barber. Jones, who rushed for 1,084 yards, had just 65 carries in Dallas' final six regular-season games, but played well in the playoff loss to Seattle, rushing for 112 yards on 22 carries."

If true, could the Titans or Bills possibly make a run at JJ for the right price...would be interesting if both Jones brothers were moved this off-season.

Julius is over-rated, and looks to be a "journeyman" back for years to come...

I've expected to hear this about the other Jones, Kevin.

no faith Caddy will turn it around as a starter? or you just like the idea of that combo in the same backfield?

Me too, with all the other RBs the Lions have brought in. But the again when he is injured and not expected to be able to play until mid season, I don't think they would get much for him.

I dont think he will be a "journeyman", but I do think he needs to go some where and take advantage of a two back system. He just can't carry the laod by himself.

I wonder if the Pack would be interested in JJ...probably not willing to pay the price being asked however.

Hope he doesn't go to the Bills or the Packers, let's just say that as far as trade ups for Marshawn Lynch go.

The thing that still cracks me up if you all don't remember, is The Tuna passed on Jackson that year in the first, and traded down to the second to get Jones.

I'm sure some team will bid for his services if he's on the trading block.
