Several quarterbacks find themselves with a lot to prove entering the 2007 season. From left, Byron Leftwich, Ben Roethlisberger, Eli Manning, Daunte Culpepper and Michael Vick, all coming off disappointing seasons, need to impress new coaches or coordinators and succeed quickly in the new season.

Five quarterbacks, five 2007 pressure points.

Michael Vick (http://fantasyfootball.usatoday.com/content/player.asp?sport=NFL&id=2107), Daunte Culpepper (http://fantasyfootball.usatoday.com/content/player.asp?sport=NFL&id=1227) and Ben Roethlisberger (http://fantasyfootball.usatoday.com/content/player.asp?sport=NFL&id=1181) are playing for new head coaches and new offensive coordinators this season. Byron Leftwich (http://fantasyfootball.usatoday.com/content/player.asp?sport=NFL&id=1478) and Eli Manning (http://fantasyfootball.usatoday.com/content/player.asp?sport=NFL&id=1657) have new quarterback coaches.

All five will be under heavy scrutiny.

New Falcons coach Bobby Petrino is a passing game guru who will emphasize better protection, route running and footwork for Vick in an effort to jump-start the league's 32nd-ranked passing attack. The signing of Joe Horn (http://fantasyfootball.usatoday.com/content/player.asp?sport=NFL&id=1011) should help Vick, not only as a sure-handed, third-down receiver, but in showing a young, inconsistent receiving corps how to improve.

Still, it's hard to get past one telling statistic: Vick did not throw one fourth-quarter touchdown pass last season, perhaps a byproduct of his willingness to pull the ball down and run — he became the first quarterback in league history to rush for 1,000 yards in 2006.

I don't see why Ben was on that list. I think last year was an aberration

Now that it has been confirmed that Vick is an overrated lump of ****.

I say the torch will be passed on to Eli Manning.

Eli is the poster boy for why a team ought to trade up to get the #1 pick!

I Ben gets a pass for another season.

Vick will be in his fourteenth season and announcers will be saying things like "he's still learning the game".

Big Ben has won a Super Bowl and has a fantastic winning percentage. If he doesn't play well this year you'll see a new QB Coach and O-Coordinator before Big Ben's job is taken away.

Can't really argue with any of those guys being in that list, but no free pass for Big Ben, he was awful last season.

All of those guys need to prove something for sure. Even Ben, he was never an elite QB.
