Still technically a rumor, but the classic cult Sega Saturn game NiGHTS Into Dreams is apparently getting a sequel.

Last week, a reader posted a scan of the U.K. Official Nintendo Magazine preview page for next month's issue which showed these...

Earlier today, Swedish gaming magazine Gamereactor posted a pic up their upcoming issue on their website...

..which apparently drew the ire of Sega since they updated later tonight and were told to "hide" the identity of the cover on their site until April 10th, which you can see here...

It's a fun game that I think is a bit over-hyped because it was pretty much the best game the Saturn had to offer (other than Castlevania: Symphony of Night & Panzer Dragoon). I'd say it's a must rent as it is enjoyable.

While a great game, I'm pretty sure Castlevania: Symphony of the Night was a Playstation exclusive. However, the Saturn had a lot of great games that were kind of overshadowed because of the Playstation and Nintendo64 dominance of the "32/64-bit" era.

I thought NiGHTS was a very good game and it scored very well in reviews back in the day. It did have sort of a "love it or hate it" gameplay mechanic which led to it's status as a cult classic, but I found it very cool, especially with the bundled analog controller.

It was one of my favorite Saturn games and I'm very interested to see how they map the ariel acrobatics to the Wiimote. I think it'll work very well with the controller.

Virtual On was my favorite Saturn games, and one of my favorites of all time. Supposedly Burning Rangers was really good, but it came out towards the end of the system, so I don't know how many people actually got it.
