Wow I never knew we had an expansion team GINTS where are they located @, lmfao, j/p the giants would not trade for this years #20 and 2nd plus a 5th and a 1st for next years draft no way.

after the ELI trade i bet they would strongly consider, and we could throw in a 7th rd pick

It is an interesting idea, I just want to know why you would think the Giants would make this trade. Is there going to be some guy at #9 that they would really love to have, but can't at #20?

Giants need a ILB and RB.

I hope you're kidding. Two first round picks and a 2nd to move up 11 spots? I really really hope you're kidding.

Ok, I can see them moving up to grab Patrick Willis. And as much as I'd love us to be the team the trade with because I would really like to move down, get more picks so that we can both (a) bring in some young offensive talent, and (b) still infuse some good defensive players, I just don't see the giants trading with us. Granted, I have no idea where Patrick Willis's value is right now, but I thought he was more of a guy to be picked up by the Bills at #12, but hey, I'm not the GM. If the Giants want to do it, I'm all for it, as long as we benefit from it.

So they'll give up two first round draft choices to select who..........?

Yea the Giants may like Pat Willis, but they wont give up the first this year and next year for him.

The value for him would be something like the 9 . . . for 20, 51, 116 and a 7th rounder to boot.

Only if Adrian Peterson were to drop. But then, I'd rather keep Peterson and give them Ronnie Brown for their 1st and 2nd. (kind of like the Edge James/ Marshall Faulk deal)

Too much to give up for a linebacker...

Wait, why give up Ronnie Brown if we were to pick up Peterson? Ronnie looks like a good RB, and while Peterson looks good as well, who knows if he'll stay healthy. I'd much rather keep brown and peterson in that situation (though I'd actually much rather trade the pick to someone who wants peterson) and send ricky williams to someone who wants him.

So you don't want to draft Peterson because he is injury prone yet defend Ronnie Brown who hasn't been able to stay healthy for a full season either? I do think that Brown is a good running back with a lot of potential, but Peterson is a special, once in a decade prospect. I would be all for drafting Peterson and trading Ronnie if someone were to be interested in it.

RW has little trade value because of his unpredictable nature.
RW could be a good backup to Peterson. He seems to be happier when he's not the featured back garnering media attention.
Think about it. A backfield with Peterson and RW in addition to the Giants 1st rd pick and their second. That would give us Peterson and another 1st rd pick as well as 3 second rd picks. I would jump all over a deal like that.

That seems like a fairly equitable trade to me - one that may make a lot of sense for the Giants if Peterson falls to us.

Oh yea, forgot that Ronnie hasn't played a full season yet. I'd really hate to see Ronnie be traded away though, but if we could get Peterson and keep Ricky for a least one season, and we can get a decent deal for Brown, why not. I trust Cameron and Mueller to make the right moves.

An interesting idea but why wouldn't somebody ahead of us take the same offer for two #1s and another pick. Wait a minute, is Rick Spielman the GM for the Giants?

If Peterson were to fall then maybe, but I don't see them giving up their first next year.
