Good picks imo.

I dislike the Okoye pick. He doesn't fit anywhere on this D and that would be a shame.

I only agree with Gonzalez at 2b...

I don't like any of the picks. If your going to pick defense...then you should be looking at corner or ILB.
The Dolphin's have to look at two positions on the offense...Center and LT....before anything else.

With the 9 pick? I hope your kidding about center.

Wide receiver? Quarterback?

Ya I dislike it overall though.

Not with the 9th...I'm looking for the Dolphins to trade backwards. WR and or QB are positions that I don't expect the Dolphins are going to go after early....especially IF they bring in either Green or Carr. Just too much talent at WR to use the 9th pick on.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them go after Staley after trading back and then trade up alittle to get a guy like Kalil....and still have enough picks to select a corner or ILB in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. If Peterson falls...don't be surprised if the Dolphins get a phone call...for some team to get in front of the Bills...As in G.B.?

That trade is gonna be crushed real soon sadly. I think Green Bay or Buffalo will end up with Turner. Actually the interesting thing about Miami is if we go WR, we set the CB chain back all the way to the late teens. We might end up with one at 40.

If he is there at 40 I wouldn't mind that pick at all either. Kid has the talent to be the best safety in this draft. He is the Ed Reed of this year.

The draft is pretty ugh IMO. As much as I like Okoye (how could anybody not like him, his upside is TREMENDOUS), we just have other options we need to address. I'm still not sold on Gonzales either, I think he is overrated. The Merriweather pick I wouldn't get mad at, the FIU thing is the only thing keeping this kid out of the mid-late first round . . . great talent.

IMO

If Peterson is still on the board when we pick at 9.
We HAVE to trade down. He will have great trade value for us.
Plus, we keep away from the Bills.
I think there is no way we can let him slip to the bills

Using the top two picks on defense is wrong. Maybe one of them, but we need to stop ignoring the offense in the draft.

if we are considering moving Jason Allen to CB, than i wouldnt mind drafting a Safety.

I would much rather have Steve Smith than Gonzalez. Call me crazy....

Again, even with a starved offense, we choose defense with our first two picks....next season i predict we still have a top 5 defense, but again an anemic offense...:rolleyes2

lets get ready for 10 points a game and the defense being on the field all day:tantrum:

sheesh, :shakeno: i need a :bighug:

I don't like the picks either. On offense I think LT and QB are the two most important pickups and on defense I think that CB and DE are the most important.

GO PHINS~!

I love Okoye and if he's the best on the board at nine so be it. I'd prefer Quinn or Landry there but that's unlikely they'll be. Okoye, Willis and maybe Peterson may be the best available when we do pick. I too would prefer to trade down in that situation, but you take the best player available with a top 10 pick....period.

Absolutely horrid. There is no way we will draft Okeye. he doesn't fit our Nose tackle profile. The other 2 picks leave Stanton, Sears, Kalil, and some others on the board. No way is that happening!

I don't like that Mock Draft. Our offense needs more picks than our defense.

That mock in general is pretty crappy and specifically for us is lousy. Horrible all the way around. Peterson falling out of the top 10 lol.

I know there is no general consensus as to what position or who we should draft so I will be estatic if all the picks in the first four rounds are good players who contribute and stay with the team. How long has it been since we had a really good draft although Sabans wasn't too shabby if Allen ever comes around. Thats what we need, consistant drafts not just one or two players who make an impact.

I personally prefer the approach Meuller has taken in past drafts never being scared to trade up and grab the player he really wants.

Would be nice to get out of the first day with Ted Ginn Jr., Joe Staley, Brandon Merriweather, and receive a 5th rounder (part of moving up for Staley) instead of picks on interior linemen.

Like we would pass on Kalil at forty to draft yet another safety...

I was proposing that move Jason Allen to cb and draft Merriwether he is a beast just has some character issues. So did Channing Crowder supposedly but he worked out great.

Okoye would be nice....if we didn't already have Matt Roth and Jason Taylor. He's no NT which we need. And Meriweather over Kalil? Must be joking.

It looked like he was just filling in blanks through the hole thing. I think I saw 12 picks that I really think are possible, and barely any from 16 to 32.

I think Gonzales at 2b is a little bit of a reach. We still have need at CB and I think we should adress that in the 2nd round, if not the 1st.

If Adrian is there at 9 we need to take him. Muller took Deuce when he had Ricky and look how that turned out. He is worth a lot more if we have him than a bluff.

Hey Regan did you see merriwether play during the season. He is a beast Runs all over the field and plays with extreme intensity. He's only outside the elite safety's in this draft because he basically started that riot.I'm tellin you merriwether is gunna turn out to be a great pro.

Maybe he would but Kalil would be the better player and a player who could fill a need since Hadnot's been average and could be better off at guard.

Levi Brown at #9 and Ryan Kalil at #40. Then a move up from our #60 pick to get a QB for the future. This mock has the Jags taking Drew Stanton at #48? I'd be stunned. I think we'd need to get past the Chiefs to have a shot at the best QB after Russell and Quinn. Unfortunately that would probably cost us our 4th round pick which would mean no day 2 picks until round 6. That would make me nervous.

If we stay at #60, QB, WR, S, and LB are possibilities.

Okoye is going to be a great player for somebody, but he doesn't fit in here. DE isn't exactly a need and he won't be big enough to play NT... yet.
